I loved him on Sabrina. He was so cute. Too young.

Only would have seen him on Gen V and don't recall him whatsoever.
Looking him up to refresh my memory it seems he got himself in trouble with the producers. He's been naughty.
Amazon Prime just released a new promotional video for The Boys spin-off series, Gen V, with Chance Perdomo, one of the prominent stars of the show, edited out of the promotional footage. Perdomo’s removal follows a social media backlash prompted by the actor’s activities on social media, like following and liking controversial posts and social media accounts.
, Chance Perdomo is still a cast member of The Boys spin-off, Gen V, the show’s official X page shared a recently edited promotional video featuring most of the core cast except Perdomo. One actor has been cropped out of the shot altogether—which is evident by a stray arm and leg that vaguely make their way into the shot next to Lizze Broadway. Now, those who have seen the previous unedited footage know that the arm and leg belong to Chance Perdomo.
While still appearing in Season 1 of The Boys spin-off, the Gen V star has come under fire on social media for liking and following publicly deemed controversial content, including Andrew Tate, and a number of pages and online personalities deemed misogynistic and transphobic. Chance Perdomo also reportedly expressed controversial opinions regarding vaccines and Johnny Depp‘s live-streamed defamation case.

So young and handsome. So tragic. I'm sorry for his family and other loved ones. R.I.P.

More on his ongoing- and perhaps not even now completed - cancellation attempt.

Do not ever ride on a motorcycle.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | March 30, 2024 10:56 PM |
Yikes, the news sort of reminded me of Anton Yelchin.

I've knew 3 people who died very young on motorcycles. One was a good friend and classmate from high school. He died freshman year in college . A second cousin died at age 24. And a coworker who I became good friends with during our 3 years working alongside each other died at 27.
Fun fact: The chances of a fatality in a motorcycle accident are approximately 30 times higher than in a car.

I read the article, and of course, there's no mention of the circumstances of the accident or the year, make, and model of the motorcycle.
Many times, when a motorcycle is going straight through an intersection, some dumb fuck making a left turn turns right in front of the oncoming motorcyclist, killing him/her -- but it's always reported as "the motorcyclist hit the car," making it seem as though it's the biker's fault. OTOH, if a solo motorcyclist dies, it is usually because s/he is going too fast through a turn.

I preferred Bill Holden’s interpretation of the David Larrabee character.

Production for series two of "Gen V" are on hold indefinitely which makes sense because his character is important to the show. They're either going to have to re-work everything or just recast.

Shit! Too, too young.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | March 31, 2024 12:15 AM |
R19 managed to make a dead-relative brag out of the thread.
The sound of one paw clapping.
by Anonymous | reply 24 | March 31, 2024 12:39 AM |
Brag? Relating one's experience with people who died on motorcycles is somehow considered bragging?
by Anonymous | reply 25 | March 31, 2024 1:39 AM |
Not so young.

Hated his British accent in Sabrina – he was doing this weird Keira Knightley lower jaw breathy delivery of it – but his American accent was fine and he was undeniably handsome. So sad.

According to Wikipedia, Chance is British. He was born in Los Angeles, and raised in Southampton, England.

His regular voice. His British accent is real. You can even hear it when he sings a line from an old Sheryl Crow song.
He was extremely cute. I love the glasses here.

He’s an American who grew up in Britain. But American.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | March 31, 2024 1:12 PM |
Oh that's terrible news. How sad. I really liked him in Sabrina.
