I was hoping to find an interview Dennis did with Tom Snyder or some other host where he discussed it. In that interview he called Rollins a punk and questioned why he left his son behind.
I found a forum where someone posted excerpts from an interview Dennis did with The Globe.
In Globe's exclusive interview, Dennis Cole alleges that Joe's friend, rock star Henry Rollins, is withholding information. Rollins denies it.
According to the article, Dennis Cole had a theory that revenge may have been a motivating factor in Joe's murder, and that Rollins was possibly the actual intended target. It was said that Rollins had a cache of Nazi and World War II memorabilia in his house, and it was believed that Rollins had angered some people in the Venice Beach, California (where he and Joe lived).
