Celebrities you don't like for no particular reason.
Is there any famous person you have taken a disliking to without cause? No basis whatsoever for the disdain but the very sight of them turns you off?
You haven't read anything bad about them, their talent isn't in question, no scandals, no stories of mistreating anyone. Nothing. Just don't like them.
I don't like Melissa McCarthy. I have no reason for this.

I have an innate dislike for David Thewlis ever since I first saw him in Timeline in 2003. No idea why, he repels me on a molecular level. Although that manky accent he's so fond of plays a part as well.
Jesse Plemons is another one. I just find him hard to look at, though his new post-Ozempic look is more bearable.

I never viewed Barack Obama as fake. But I felt that sometimes he was too disciplined. He seems so calm. A friend told me that was a kind of trait in people from Hawaii. Most of them are laid back and calm. Barack also struck me as someone who had a lot of turbulence in their personal life growing up, so they didn't like volatile situations with lots of yelling or emotional outbursts. Which is curious because Michelle seems more than capable of being volatile and emotional. IMO she seems fakish. Whatever. I'm glad Barack Obama is engaged politically and actively supporting Joe.

I always saw Michelle Obama as extremely geniune. She didn't want to become famous at all, and never craved the limelight. She just wanted to run her practice and raise her family, and was interviewed saying as much during the initial campaigns. She used her forced upon platform to do great things while being foisted into the public eye. Her photo ops and smiles lways seem a touch awkward, because she's still not loving that kind of attention. That awkwardness probably comes across as fake to some people.

If Michelle doesn't want to be famous she sure has a hell of a way to show it. I think she was sincere in saying that early in Barack's 2008 campaign. I think it took a lot of adjusting for her. But she was successful, and popular and hey, she has obviously grown comfortable with it. When I said she seemed fakish, I didn't mean a phony per se, I mean that I always have the impression that she has to make an effort to be nice. She does not seem like a warm person to me in spite of the show she makes of hugging people.

It seems like Obama would like to not be as involved in Politics any more, even though he is actively help Joe with fund raising and speeches. I mean there are periods when he is hardly visible at all and seems to disappear from the public stage, and then he is out here at some fundraiser for Joe. Now, I know ex Potus has to raise money for their Library. And he and Michelle are busy building their post presidential lives. But they still live in Washington D.C. in a gorgeous house. And they have their place in Chicago just for show mostly. And there's a rumor he has a house on Martha's Vineyard. And they're often seen traveling abroad. I have to wonder if he is doing some consulting work the same way the Bushes and Bill Clinton did.
It's different for Bill and Hillary. Both of them are active and I follow them on Instagram Facebook and Twitter, Hillary is on Threads too. Former Potus Clinton is very busy with his Global Initiative and does a lot of public appearances. Hillary is chancellor of a University in Scotland, she is actively involved with international women's groups on issues, and she is always speaking out on political issues, throwing shade on Trump. It's a huge contrast with the Obamas.
