As an Ohio native, r3, I'd like to believe it says Ohioans are principled.

But it probably just says they're dumb.

Trump is up close to 80% now with almost half the votes counted. That, of course, means that more than one out of five primary voters in Ohio are voting for an alternative to him. Meanwhile Joe Biden is above 87%.

Biden is doing poorly in this primary....Almost 50,000 VOTES for Dean Phillips.

Sherrod Brown is in a lot of trouble this election. He is one of the most vulnerable candidates running for re-election.

She might be but Moreno, Trump's puppet running for Senator got the majority over Dolan, even with a heavy campaign against him. Republicans are falling in line despite the insurrection.

Trump's lead over Haley is roughly what polls have been showing this year.

Sorry, R6, a lead of more than 70% isn't "doing poorly."

Republicans are either voting against him in favor of candidates no longer running- or they're just not voting.

Anecdote: when I went to my polling place today a young black girl was asking people to sign a petition to stop parties' use of gerrymandering. I signed it, then two hillbilly women waddled over. When she explained the petition to them one said, "Which party?".

Maryland is not an open primary state. And Haley who long ago dropped out of the race got 20% of the GOP vote. Biden though got less than 87% of the Dem vote.

R22, Biden's 86.3% is only a couple of points lower than Obama got in 2012 (the most comparable recent primary). The turnout was also far higher this year.

It’s time or close to time to invite Haley to the WH or Camp David for a little talk about the future. And fuck any MAGA or progressive that would have a problem with that.
