Joe Scarborough brings a fire vibe when sitting at the table.

by Anonymousreply 2March 7, 2024 5:27 PM

Since someone decided to close out the last thread by bumping it to 600, efectively ending any discussion, I'm repeating the last comment so at least one other person sees it:

A commenter asked about Steve Benjamin, Democratic strategist...

Steve Benjamin, bald Democratic strategist for Biden, must have some worth to the campaign, but he's useless on TV. Nicole and David Jolly were pressing him to answer a question about how the Biden campaign could/should reach out to.Haley voters.

He's a robot without a bit of nuance. David asked the question and got a robotic prepared answer, and Nicole tried asking the same question twice trying - by changing a few words in the same question - to elicit the answer, or any answer. All three times he gave the same robotic answer talking about Biden's accomplishments. It was ridiculous. And he's clueless about the state of the election. Jolly, a former Republican who frequently says the only way out of this mess is to vote for Democrats, was legitimately probing for what the answer might be for Biden to reach Haley undecideds. Benjamin couldn't get passed his canned response, which didn't come close to really answering their question.

They gave up and Nicole, who made some comment about the answer being the same day by day, ended the interview while she and David smiled and repressed laughter.

As always, Democrats need some serious help in getting out their message, and Benjamin is useless at it.

by Anonymousreply 3March 7, 2024 5:27 PM

Ugh, no, I closed out the last part to ensure the conversation continues. Thank you for reposting your comment.

by Anonymousreply 4March 7, 2024 6:19 PM

And not to beat a dead (if very handsome) dead horse, but it just seems weird that someone as smart and hot as Jonathan Swan wouldn't be gobbled up by MSNBC or CNN and be a regularly featured guest. Even he is not going to get me to tune into Fox.

by Anonymousreply 5March 7, 2024 6:21 PM

I love Swan because he seems to be the only person who knows how to interview Trump where Trump consistently comes off happily as an ignorant asshole without realizing it. I think he sees Swan as a cute central casting pixie who really likes him.

by Anonymousreply 6March 7, 2024 6:27 PM

I don't think I can watch the SOTU tonight. If there's a prompter error or the inevitable Palestinian interruption, it will be painful. Jen Psaki and Symone will try to paint a positive face on things.

by Anonymousreply 7March 7, 2024 6:28 PM

[quote] And not to beat a dead (if very handsome) dead horse, but it just seems weird that someone as smart and hot as Jonathan Swan wouldn't be gobbled up by MSNBC or CNN and be a regularly featured guest. Even he is not going to get me to tune into Fox.

He has not been on Fox for a long time.

by Anonymousreply 8March 7, 2024 6:34 PM

Swan is very handsome. I agree it’s surprising that he’s not on TV more.

by Anonymousreply 9March 7, 2024 6:37 PM

And Swan's very smart, too! It's not like he's just a pretty face.

by Anonymousreply 10March 7, 2024 7:02 PM

Does Jonathan Swan want to be MY personal swan ?

More going down the Texas rabbit hole. Cruz is not going to lose.

by Anonymousreply 14March 7, 2024 8:38 PM

r13, MSNBC has much in common with Fox

Repeat the little lies like common sense, and eventually it will be believed...until Trump.

Such bullshit r13.

by Anonymousreply 15March 7, 2024 8:57 PM

Exactly *which* "little lies" would those be, r15?

by Anonymousreply 16March 7, 2024 9:09 PM

MSNBC has much in common with Fox , ya cunt.

by Anonymousreply 17March 7, 2024 9:13 PM

That doesn't answer my question, r17.

by Anonymousreply 18March 7, 2024 9:16 PM

If MSNBC has so much in common with FAUX, then why do you maintain these threads as though you're a fan, Miss Transition Monitor Cunt?

by Anonymousreply 21March 7, 2024 9:33 PM

If MSNBC has so much in common with FAUX, then why do you maintain these threads as though you're a fan, Miss Transition Monitor Cunt?

R17 was a reply to r16. It was the little lies that MAGAts tell.

It is exactly the type of comment that a Transition Monitor dislikes. I have MSNBC on one of my devices, 2am to midnight, 24/7.

MSNBC is the only outlet that is not dragged to the right and by simple comparison appears to be extreme left.

by Anonymousreply 22March 7, 2024 9:39 PM

O.K, r22, the discussion is getting derailed because you don't quote clearly.

Biden to rescind Limbaugh Medal of Freedom as olive branch to conservative voters.

by Anonymousreply 25March 8, 2024 1:06 AM

Rachel, discussing Mike "Porn Buddy" Johnson holding onto his slim majority:

"He's holding onto that with a single hand, like a bucking bronco..."

Unfortunately she said that as the camera panned to and focused upon Lauren Boebert even more unfortunately seated next to Matt Gaetz.

by Anonymousreply 26March 8, 2024 1:15 AM

[quote] More going down the Texas rabbit hole. Cruz is not going to lose.

Yes, unless you have money to burn, let's not have a repeat of Kentucky, SC ... & Texas before. Better to contribute in Ohio, Montana & Nevada. Michigan, too, if Mike Rogers is the GOP nominee.

by Anonymousreply 27March 8, 2024 1:23 AM

MTG is wearing a cap. Ugh, she is so inappropriate.

by Anonymousreply 28March 8, 2024 1:25 AM

Skanks gotta skank, R28. Lipstick-red MAGA cap on a pig

What was it that she said to President Biden in the aisle leading to the speech?

by Anonymousreply 29March 8, 2024 3:37 AM

She gave Biden a button with the dead girl on it (the one who was killed while jogging). She must've said something about her. Of course, he used that button in the middle of his speech and humiliated MTG.

by Anonymousreply 30March 8, 2024 3:39 AM

Katie Britt-iot.

by Anonymousreply 31March 8, 2024 3:49 AM

Poor scapegoat Bama Mama Katie should have consulted Kaitlan Collins before accepting the assignment. Set-up for failure.

by Anonymousreply 32March 8, 2024 4:01 AM

Just watched Simone "Where's the Craft Services" Sanders describe Laken Riley as a man, killed by a woman immigrant... but the true issue and terrible thing is that President Biden described the killer as "an Illegal".

WTF Symone! The smoked salmon platter is calling your name!

It is delightful that JoScar is so low key today after President Biden SLAYED the Republican Party.

But I do enjoy watching Joe SCREAM at Evangelicals and Southern Baptists who have turned their backs on Jesus.

And Sweet Baby Jesus, someone needs to tell Republicans that, yes, the "suburbs" are important but you do not sway women by having an American Stepford Wife on heavy PMS give your response pleading for women to leave their jobs and return to their kitchens. What it proved is the Republicans do not understand women FUCKING AT ALL.

by Anonymousreply 35March 8, 2024 12:06 PM

R34, Biden made it clear that his illegal status could have been easily cleared up if Republicans passed the Bipartisan Immigration Bill and the new judges were in place. That is why he called him illegal.

by Anonymousreply 36March 8, 2024 12:09 PM

Biden stumbled but unlike Trump, he didn't make me want to throw up. He held up a picture of the country I wish we could have,

I did not listen to the Nazi cheerleader's rebuttal speech. Why are Ana and Jose teamed up as if they don't have their own shows?

When will Jose have his daughter on?

MSNBC is now talk radio on TV with the exception of a lackluster midday lineup where they hammer the same three or four points of the day. ' The network is being starved of funds to do actual reporting and they need a news overview at least once an hour. Their format is stagnant.

by Anonymousreply 39March 8, 2024 4:22 PM

The lack of funding to do actual reporting is an industry-wide problem. It’s hard to make journalism pay when there are so many other sources of information.

by Anonymousreply 45March 8, 2024 6:38 PM

Those glasses on Masha, so avant-garde. I was looking at that exact pair in blue but sold out, limited edition. They are J F Rey frames if anyone is interested. It's an independent brand NOT owned by Luxottica.

FYI, If you own frames made by Tom Ford, Oakley, Armani, Persol, Ralph Lauren, Ray-Ban, Dolce&Gabbana, Prada, Burberry, Chanel, Versace, Vogue, Foster Grant, Target, Sunglass Hut, LensCrafters or Sears, guess what? All owned by Luxottica all made in China now. You literally are just paying for the brad name, not the quality those brands one had.

Dont wast you money unless it's an independent brand.

This is what Steph does best and should do every night.

by Anonymousreply 70March 9, 2024 3:15 AM

I wonder if when Joy gets gussied up with wigs and extreme makeup, she is trying to compete with the (over) glamorous Symone.

(Maybe not the wig thing since Symone doesn't wear wigs.)

by Anonymousreply 71March 9, 2024 12:41 PM

Symone needs to cut back on all the makeup for a morning show - especially the eyelashes. She's such a smart woman, and offers so much to the conversation - but its sometimes lost on the viewer (I think) from the distraction of all that make-up. Just my opinion.

by Anonymousreply 72March 9, 2024 1:25 PM

Symone looked like a fresh spring flower this morning.

by Anonymousreply 73March 9, 2024 2:38 PM

Hard to imagine.

by Anonymousreply 74March 9, 2024 2:40 PM

R73 I think she looked great - yellow is her color. She has such great chemistry with Michael Steele (Alicia looks like the spare wheel - she's not right for this show). I just wish Symone cut back on the make-up, as I said above (especially so early in the day). She's an attractive woman - doesn't need the false eyelashes.

Thumbs up to Eugene Daniels for wearing that light blue checkered jacket this morning (I believe Symone wore that earlier in the season). Only he could pull that off.

by Anonymousreply 75March 9, 2024 2:42 PM

I'm in love with occasional Phang guest Ankush Khardori. I'm betting he has a python between his legs.

by Anonymousreply 76March 9, 2024 4:23 PM

Ankush Khardori looks like the computer reconstructed face of King Tut

by Anonymousreply 77March 9, 2024 4:34 PM

I couldn't remember his name and so I couldn't look him up after I fell in lust with him.

by Anonymousreply 78March 9, 2024 4:51 PM

Is Ankush, family? I looked them up on several websites. No mention of his personal life. I noticed he doesn’t wear a wedding ring, but that doesn’t mean much.

by Anonymousreply 79March 9, 2024 6:28 PM

by Anonymousreply 80March 9, 2024 6:28 PM

[quote]"And that's the problem. Instead of having decorum, instead of operating in a professional manner, this place has just devolved into this bickering and nonsense and not really doing the job for the American people," Buck added.

by Anonymousreply 101March 12, 2024 9:10 PM

The real reason he’s quitting early is that it screws Boebert, so his complaint about bickering and nonsense is a bit hypocritical. The party must now pick someone to run in a special election and if they pick her, they will just create another vacancy.

by Anonymousreply 125March 14, 2024 3:41 PM

I’m waiting for Cannon to screw up during her meeting today with Jack Smith. He’s not going to take shit from her, and will appeal any half-ass ruling she pulls to the 11th circuit. The host & her entire panel. All former republicans. The Great Realignment.

by Anonymousreply 137March 14, 2024 9:18 PM

^^^ That was the best segment of the day. Gives one some hope for the future if those types of Republicans can harness other disaffected Republicans, and if the Democrats can learn to fight strategically if not dirty.

I'm watching Andrea Mitchell right now - she has on Lisa Rubin, Paul Butler and Andrew Wiseman talking the Fani case. Someone is breathing rather heavily through their nose off-camera and it's overshadowing what the guests have to say - it's very distracting, to say the least. Isn't there anyone in audio who can fix this ?

BTW, I think it's Mitchell who is doing the heavy nasal breathing.

by Anonymousreply 141March 15, 2024 4:48 PM

I heard strange breathing noises this morning on Morning Joe so it’s probably not Andrea.

by Anonymousreply 142March 15, 2024 4:58 PM

I think I heard that a seasoned technical director retired and their replacement in the production control room seems to be going through OJT.

Whose Dick is Jake Sherman sucking in the House GOP?

by Anonymousreply 144March 15, 2024 5:46 PM

All of them.

by Anonymousreply 145March 15, 2024 6:21 PM

Jake Sherman’s SCOOPS about the House GOP are bonkers and then blames Democrats.

He is such a joke. Notice how only some ppl on MSNBC have him on….

by Anonymousreply 146March 15, 2024 7:16 PM

The idea that Jake Sherman is carrying water for the GOP is beyond laughable. As if that would be true of MSNBC’s congressional contributor.

by Anonymousreply 147March 15, 2024 7:31 PM

Jake Sherman carries thw water, sucks the dicks of GOPs for that hot, steamy sccop.

Watching the circus freak that is Methadone Clinic client Molly Jong-Fast on Nicolle’s show. Glad she was finally told to present in a more professional manner, but she appears to be a lifelike corpse. I don’t care if she is a Nobel laureate, she looks like she is a character from “The Munsters.” Jaysus, Rashida, do better!

by Anonymousreply 151March 15, 2024 8:19 PM

Joy will endeavor to slant the facts to show any Black official in a favorable light. Fani Willis exhibited poor judgment and left herself open to this, jeopardizing an important trial. She paid her boyfriend a million bucks--no one held a gun to her head to do it.

She needs to go. Give her slot to Ari and Ari's slot to Katie Feng.

by Anonymousreply 158March 15, 2024 11:09 PM

Willis also had counts struck from her complaint because of poor pleading. She's not as smart as she thinks she is.

by Anonymousreply 159March 15, 2024 11:17 PM

[quote] She's not as smart as she thinks she is.

I sort of figured that when she came into court with her clothes on backwards. That's cute in a toddler, but a DA should be able to dress herself.

by Anonymousreply 160March 16, 2024 12:08 AM

Joy was SPOT ON in her opening about how the system was basically built for rich white men like DUMP to get away with anything. This motherfucker is on TAPE low-key bullying the Georgia SOS to find him the exact amount of votes needed to swing the state for him, and the DA is the one on trial? Nevermind the shitload of other illegal and improper caught-on-tape things he’s said and done before and during his presidency that should prevent him from being the president of a pie factory, let alone the fucking president of the United States. If Obama had done less than a fraction of the shit that Dump has done, not only would he never be able to run again, but he would probably already be in jail. At the end of the day, the case in Georgia is about a blatant attempt to overthrow a free and fair election, and whether or not the DA kept cash in her house, or flew to the tropics with her boyfriend, who also happened to be the leading attorney on the case (after nobody else had the cojones to take the job), is a non-factor.

Joe Scarborough used the word "bullshit" twice in one sentence this morning - and for once, Mika didn't reprimand him.

Speaking of MJ: R181 - I saw Lemire this morning and was wondering why you have an issue with him.

by Anonymousreply 184March 18, 2024 2:38 PM

R184, Jonathan Lemire’s effeminacy is what irritates me.

by Anonymousreply 185March 18, 2024 2:56 PM

r186, from Morning Joe to Nicolle's Deadline White House is worthless. I agree.

I'm on the WC, get up at 3amPT to watch MJ (LOVE when Joe swears) and I go to bed at 7am PT for my morning nap. I get up at 10am PT to watch the View, do my morning computer work, check mail, check online orders, visit DL, FB X-lon, whatever until 1pmPT and Nicolle until 3pmPTwhen Ari comes on. Sometime during the Ari/Joy two hrs I go to the gym, do my knee recovery on the recumbent bike and watch MSNBC on my Android App. Today is Monday, so I will watch Jen (usually Chris) then Rachel and Lawrence. Stephanie still is better off right after MJ as a Business recap, but she became Rashida's Soccer Mommie during the pandemic. Like Ari, who has wigger insight, Stephanie has cornered Youth Vote Outreach for MSNBC. I only watch her on Fridays for her kiddy/progressives roundtables. Hate when she cries over dead people. I like Alex because she is so emphatic and usually has odball insights.

Check this out:

[quote]After announcing that former Republican National Committee Chairman Ronna McDaniel would contribute "across all NBC News platforms," network executives have backed down following backlash and threats of a boycott from viewers and employees, decreeing that McDaniel will not appear on MSNBC.

The Meet the Press panel was pretty brutal this morning towards McDaniel and NBC for hiring her.

by Anonymousreply 281March 24, 2024 2:04 PM

Nobody claims to be independent of viewers and employees. That’s not what journalistic independence is about.

by Anonymousreply 283March 24, 2024 2:35 PM

What the fuck does journalistic independence have to do with the fact that she is most probably a criminal, and in the least ,spouts verifiable lies?

Is that what journalistic independence means now? Everybody gets to spout whatever bullshit that serves their purpose? Both sides?

That's the Fox model and its why half this country is so fucking dumb and why we may end up with trump as president again.

by Anonymousreply 303March 25, 2024 3:53 AM

ABC also hired Reince Priebus and not only was he once head of the RNC, he also worked in the Trump administration.

by Anonymousreply 304March 25, 2024 3:56 AM

[bold]Ronna McDaniel on MSNBC Meet the Press is live now. I thought this was not going to happen. She's spinning and doing question like crazy. Is Rashida trying to make us think she's being put on the hot seat so we can all get used to her? Well? SHE IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. This is worse then when they hired Gretta Van Sustran. Ratings are going to plummet.

by Anonymousreply 305March 25, 2024 8:17 AM

She's so full of BS. "I represent half the country, we all cant just go back and hide in our echo chambers" MMM Hhhmm, wasn't that the EXACT line Anderson Cooper said when CNN got taken over by that Fox CEO?

It's more likely that days will pass, there will be blah blah blah, history will be erased, and the anchors that should be outraged or resigning will find some wiggle room, and it will be one big happy family again for the public. Maybe some backstage stress. Everybody's gotta pay their bills and maintain their access and fame.

Just like everything else, we'll all get tired of being outraged (again) and move on, because whatcha gonna do?

I'd like it to be different but the cynic in me says, 'same old shit.' We could have never predicted that the sources we used to trust would stoop so low.

by Anonymousreply 326March 25, 2024 8:43 PM

R333, while Chuck Todd may not had ultimate control over whether Hewitt remained a panelist that doesn’t mean he was without influence. An influence that, while no longer the host, he is endeavoring to exercise in this instance.

At one point will Ronna tell MSNBC, “Keep the $300,000.00”?

by Anonymousreply 338March 25, 2024 10:18 PM

by Anonymousreply 349March 26, 2024 12:04 AM

Public outcry is meaningless. Internal outcry and ridicule could allow for a “planned” exit. They need to go all mean girl on her at the network.

by Anonymousreply 350March 26, 2024 12:06 AM

[quote] Ronna McDaniel on MSNBC Meet the Press is live now. I thought this was not going to happen. She's spinning and doing question like crazy. Is Rashida trying to make us think she's being put on the hot seat so we can all get used to her? Well?

Meet the Press is not an MSNBC show, and it's not under the control of Rashida Jones. It's an NBC show that airs Sunday mornings on NBC affiliates (and is later replayed on MSNBC). Ronna McDaniel was hired by NBC, not by MSNBC specifically. Rashida has said that McDaniel won't be appearing on MSNBC shows.

[quote] I unfollowed on Xitter every MSNBC anchor I followed and watch

Why? The MSNBC anchors had nothing to do with this, and they're all probably just as upset as we are. Joy Reid just did a long segment criticizing McDaniel and her hiring.

by Anonymousreply 367March 26, 2024 1:26 AM

by Anonymousreply 368March 26, 2024 1:30 AM

Rachel didn't say this during her describing of Repugs allowing themselves to be taken over by Trump, but I will.

As any skilled, or unskilled Con Man knows, Job One is choosing easy marks.

Trump, even after years playing both sides, when he decided to rook gullible Americans and run to be the POTUS, he declared himself a Republican.

'Nuff said.

by Anonymousreply 369March 26, 2024 1:37 AM

“I will tell you, the fact that Ms. McDaniel is on the payroll at NBC News, to me that is inexplicable,” Maddow said. “You wouldn’t hire a wiseguy, you wouldn’t hire a made man like a mobster to work in a D.A.’s office, right? You wouldn’t hire a pickpocket to work as a TSA screener. So I find her decision to put her on the payroll inexplicable, and I hope they will reverse their decision.”

Lemme know when Savannah and Hoda speak out on the Today Show about Ronna…that would actually mean something is brewing internally.

Who am I kidding?!

by Anonymousreply 377March 26, 2024 11:04 AM

NBC is getting exactly what it wants from this 'hire' : everyone is talking about it. Not only on MSNBC, but on ABC, CNN and FOX, too (both with different takes). You cannot buy this kind of publicity which will pump up their ratings. Remember - this no such thing as bad publicity, just get the network name right.

I think in the end, NBC will drop her and this won't go through. But they're not going to do it right away - they're going to milk this free publicity cow until the last drop.

by Anonymousreply 378March 26, 2024 1:42 PM

I'm not sure this is in the category of "All Publicity is Good Publicity".

NBC now has a big black mark against it for the intelligent among us. They're not gaining anything with the Fox lemmings who don't watch NBC.

And I'm guessing their advertisers aren't happy either. I don't see how this can possibly be good for them.

by Anonymousreply 395March 27, 2024 12:31 PM

Why can't these corporate types just ever admit they are wrong? Bla, Bla, Bla, we didnt do anything wrong, bla, bla, bla, you people just dont want to hear another viewpoint. Bla, Bla Bla, it's basically your fault.

That's the kind of corporate bullshit people hate. It's exactly what you expect someone from Fox to say.

Katie Tur was all over congratulating that Repug's wife arguing before the supreme court yesterday. What was that about? Women Power? Really? For a woman who if she won would kill all forms of the morning after pill and put all other drugs approved by the FDA on the chopping block to the whims of the whoever decided they didn't want that drug on the market for religious reasons?

Katie, pic hour battles, and more importantly, pick who you elevate into status. Just because she's a women does not mean she deserves the accolades. If Hitler was still alive, you could make the same argument for supporting Eva Braun.

Katy Tur is a cunt. I refuse to watch her.

by Anonymousreply 413March 27, 2024 8:17 PM

Katy Tur is full-on MAGA now. That radical haircut she got was the first sign she went completely crazy.

by Anonymousreply 414March 27, 2024 8:20 PM

R414, you’re the “completely crazy” one if you seriously think Katy “is full-on MAGA now.’

by Anonymousreply 415March 27, 2024 8:28 PM

R415, are you her husband?

by Anonymousreply 416March 27, 2024 8:53 PM

You need to pay closer attention. It was if she was the president of the fan club for "...that Repug's wife arguing before the supreme court yesterday."

It was embarrassing how she celebrated her and didn't ask a single question of her or point out any of her fallacies. And there were MANY. She let lies go right by.

It was one of the most unprofessional interviews I've seen her do, and that's saying much.

It's not necessarily a problem that she is a Republican, but she very often only tells one side of a story and lets lies and misstatements go unchallenged. She's supposed to be a news person, not a cheerleader for Republicans.

What were they thinking? Did Rashida Jones really think that Rachel Maddow, Lawrence O'Donnell, Nicolle Wallace and company would eagerly embrace Ronna McDaniel and want her to appear on their shows -- after years of calling out her lies? Did Rashida think MSNBC's viewers would welcome Ronna McDaniel with open arms? How could they not foresee what a shitshow this would be -- and what an affront it would be to MSNBC's hosts and viewers? Everyone involved in trying to hire Ronna McDaniel should be fired for this colossal fuck-up.

But with Eugene, they can get in studio two shots without pulling back the cameras.

by Anonymousreply 480March 30, 2024 1:33 PM

If Ari is supposed to be their legal eagle, as R474 states, Katie Phang and Lisa Rubin - two brilliant legal minds - are right there. I'd rather listen to either of them. They break down legal complexities so that they are understandable to the non-lawyers among us, and they NEVER talk down to the audience as Ari does.

They are more interested in helping people understand. He's more interested in impressing people with what HE knows.

The question I would like every reporter to ask is "What would disqualify Trump, in your mind?" We know the answer is nothing, so then we can all agree it's a cult and the public will get to decide if they want to join or not based on the rules of the cult. Child bearing hips and no Adam’s Apple.

by Anonymousreply 548April 3, 2024 3:20 AM

I was really furious at Hayes for saying when the war ends is entirely up to Netanyahu. How about Hamas releasing the hostages?

There are two sides in this war, and one side decided to start it and is holding hostages. Yet apparently Haynes thinks they’re just a passive observer to the war.

[quote]Are you talking about Katie Phang? No indication she was ever a Republican.

She said so herself live on the air in one of her first appearances in MSNBC.

by Anonymousreply 551April 3, 2024 7:47 AM

I like the clarion voice of Kacie Hunt at CNN in the morning. I’m tired of the Morning Joe crew.

by Anonymousreply 552April 3, 2024 11:26 AM

Elise Jordan is a dramatic quack.

by Anonymousreply 553April 3, 2024 11:39 AM

I'll never understand why minorities are or were Republicans. What was it the Republicans offered you beside discrimination? Tax breaks?

That's a simplification, but...

by Anonymousreply 554April 3, 2024 11:50 AM

^I totally agree.

by Anonymousreply 555April 3, 2024 12:50 PM

R554 I agree. This is most perplexing in this election.

by Anonymousreply 556April 3, 2024 1:24 PM

Minorities don’t stand in solidarity despite progressive doctrine. There are Blacks who hade Latinos vice versa, and even anti-immigrant Latinos. Remember, back in the early 20th century, the established German-Jewish immigrants hated the new Jewish immigrants from Eastern Europe. Add cultural conservatism and resentment of taxes.

by Anonymousreply 557April 3, 2024 1:43 PM

Joe S yells a lot.

by Anonymousreply 558April 3, 2024 2:09 PM

Elise Jordan is a dramatic cunt.

With all the reporting on Democrats bleeding support among key constituencies, one would think pro-Biden voters would be more welcoming to (former) Republicans for Biden like Elise Jordan.

If only it was Ayman's thighs on display at R547, the World would be a much better place.

by Anonymousreply 563April 3, 2024 6:26 PM

R562, it's all AI generated nonsense.

R562, replacement hysteria will not pick cabbages for American racists.

Lawrence is now on the Rachel Maddow schedule.

by Anonymousreply 565April 4, 2024 12:00 AM

Not to digress, but Jon Hamm was a guest on FOX and Friends this morning.

Is he a Republican?

by Anonymousreply 566April 4, 2024 12:06 AM

Hamm was on MSNBC yesterday.

by Anonymousreply 567April 4, 2024 12:22 AM

I hope Lawrence O'Donnell is back tonight.

I think Velshi is a good guy, but he's too hyper for me at 9:00am CST.

And with this latest motion by Jack Smith to Judge Cannon to shit or get off the pot and issue a decision on that stupid PRA argument made by Trump, I need my fix of legal analysis and no other program is better at that than O'Donnell's.

by Anonymousreply 568April 4, 2024 12:37 AM

Senator Chris Murphy looking hot tonight w/ Chris Hayes.

Unfortunately The Senator married an ugly, older lady 🐴

by Anonymousreply 569April 4, 2024 1:03 AM

Just got home and turned on Chris Hayes’ show. Looks like he split his bottom lip.

by Anonymousreply 570April 4, 2024 1:07 AM

r570, Blow-jobbing takes a toll.

Chris Hayes seems the sort who frequently would have been put into his school locker. Maybe there was a class reunion ?

by Anonymousreply 572April 4, 2024 2:22 AM

I wonder how Stephanie feels when Lawrence isn't there and her lead-in viewers drop like a stone.

I can't watch Ayman and Ali anymore, because of their anti president Biden, Pro Palestinian and consequently, pro-Iranian positions.

In the same way that Joe Scarborough still believes he is a member of the True Southern Baptist Convention.

Pure philosophical gymnastics.

Joe needs to do an official conversion to The Episcopal Church, otherwise he remains the child of Pentecostal snake handlers.

Mika will love you more, as a member of one of the three lungs of Christianity.

Repent, you SNAKE HANDLER!

by Anonymousreply 575April 4, 2024 5:45 PM

Kitty fills in for Arlene on the day she was, as John led off noting, "hurt" in an automobile accident. John added, "I'm sure that you all will join us in hoping that her place on the panel will be very soon find Arlene sitting there." "Thoughts and prayers" apparently weren't in the vernacular in 1963.

Back to the Baltimore bridge. Yawn.

by Anonymousreply 582April 5, 2024 11:43 AM

Some blowhard is on right now lecturing the working class about how they're doing really well. Oh it's just a disconnect between how you're doing and what you're feeling. You're just mad because you see too many immigrants. You're just tricked by crime propaganda. You're just irrational. Prime example of a jerk neolib who's really a republican minus the social attitudes. Prime example of why the democrats underachieve and underperform. People are angry because they are absolutely fucking broke and at their limit. Even if their quality of life meets some minimum standard, their mind is in hell stressing about maintaining about it and how one 500 dollar emergency could put them out to the gutter. I'm not mad about mexicans I'm mad because I haven't seen a doctor or a dentist in almost a decade. I'm still voting for Biden but these smug dinosaurs make me sick.

by Anonymousreply 583April 5, 2024 8:12 PM

r583 edit - I don't know why I wrote "maintaining about it" instead of "maintaining it" - I think I wrote something else first but only partially deleted it and didn't notice.

by Anonymousreply 584April 5, 2024 8:13 PM

Blowhard is right, R583. That’s the fast talking, born with a silver spoon in his mouth, Donnie Douche Deutsch. His father hired him into the family advertising business in 1983, that had an estimated worth of $10 million at that time. Granted, he had good ideas, and over time built an incredible ad empire, but in no way does this obnoxious insufferable prick know anything about making ends meet for the struggling working class.

by Anonymousreply 585April 5, 2024 8:47 PM

by Anonymousreply 588April 5, 2024 9:36 PM

What 66 year old man still goes by “Donnie”?

by Anonymousreply 589April 5, 2024 9:41 PM

I know, it's ridiculous!

by Anonymousreply 590April 5, 2024 9:46 PM

R590, Donny Osmond and Johnny Carson are/were in show business.

Donnie Deutsch is in the corporate world.

There’s a difference.
