What a boneheaded idea.
Will there be real squids this time?

Remaking? JFC. Why.

Because it has to star white people, who will claim it's original. Kind of like " Masked Singer," " America's Funniest Home Videos," and " The Good Doctor," which all had origins in Asia, but are thought to be western shows.

It's because Americans are too stupid to read subtitles. That's why.

Stupid and lazy.

Wait until " Squid Games, the Musical," directed by Casey Nickolaw.

And fat too R6.

David Fincher seems to be the go-to guy for remaking popular foreign films sans subtitles. Ala “Girl With the Dragon Tattoo”.

So he steals material and pawns it off as his own?

Will Cate Blanchett be in this?

Who will be cast as the rich, evil queers who watch the game in sybaritic splendor?

Squid Game was a flash in the pan that was already derived from superior works like Battle Royal, Liars Game, and 21st Century Boys. 21st Century Boys would make a hell of a film series. This is so pointless too because everyone has already seen it.

R13 *20th Century Boys

Battle Royale was good, but it wasn't that good. S3 was solid. Koreans do a great blend of all genres in their media, and the American version of SG is going to suck because they can't do it-Fincher's version will just be bleak without the pathos and humanity.

Fincher is off the project. He took to long to come up with anything, being busy with the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood sequel, which started this week.
