Wow - 94! Do you think that HE knows he is 94 today? ….. the last years run so fast. It seems like twice a month I see his episode of Seinfeld - the “Anti- Dentite” episode.

I don’t understand the ongoing public keening and conspiracy theorizing over Natalie Wood. Like I get it if she was your family, but it’s not as though the rest of the world lost some major talent at the peak of her beauty. We’ve collectively invented some Poirot-esque whodunnit when she most likely had one too many Quaaludes and tripped overboard.

Contemporarily it would be like if an Anne Heche-caliber celebrity died in a violent fiery car wreck. It might be a bit startling for a day or two, but most of the world upon seeing a small headline about it on cnn.com would say “Who?”

I’ve spent more time agonizing over the ebbs and flows of Annette Funicello’s health than I have giving a hoot about Ms. Wood’s untimely death.
