Watched this yesterday. They could have edited it down and cut 30 min off of the time but it held my interest

I liked that the documentary touched a bit on the issues that go on in web sleuth communities. I thought that the one woman Kristy was a cunt to refuse to speak to some of the hikers. It was shitty how some people harrassed that poor guy Ben. But, I also didn't care much for that other web sleuth Natasha.

R3 He wasn't a nomad. It seemed he worked in IT for many years in Brooklyn before doing a thru hike.

Just finished it. I loved it. Knew nothing about the story.

What a cast of characters.

My favorite was the purple haired woman. She has a good heart and seemed to have a sense of humor.

That dry cleaning employee Christie has Cheryl energy. Her behavior during the credits was lol.

I have only watched this once, but will probably watch again later. I think Christy's sister was disabled and she is the primary caretaker. They were living in some kind of extended stay hotel.

IMDB says "A hiker found dead in Florida wilderness is identified by internet sleuths after 2 years. His identity triggers more questions as multiple hikers claim to have met him, but he never revealed his name." I watched but also thought it was too long.
