Republicans say their party represents fiscal responsibility and yet each time they are in charge, jobs disappear and wages stagnate.
Why has an economic recession occurred each time a Republican president is in office?

Cute pole, OP.
Nevertheless, I'll answer: because Democrat's economic policies work for America, while Republican's do not. It really is that simple. Tickle down economics is a fairy tale. Tax cuts for the rich only serve to make the rich richer. Policies that serve only the wealthy... serve only the wealthy.
We can have a prosperous middle class, a thriving nation, a nation that lifts up everybody, educates its young, takes care of its elderly, and provides a high standard of living for everyone, or we can have billionaires being minted on a daily basis. We can't have both.
Choose.

Think of money as a lubricant. If the rich hoard all their money, less money moves around, the machine of the economy is not lubricated, things slow down (recession) or even grind to a halt (the Great Depression).
