John Carpenter’s Suburban Screams

It looks good but disturbing. I never even heard of it. What did you thinK?

Ben Walton-Jones plays the young blond dude in Episode one. He's Welsh and pretty with wonderful cheekbones and body. He played JFK in some unknown movie, but looks nothing like JFK.

We tried watching this OP and it was pretty bad, not at all what we thought it was. It's essentially like one of those Discovery Channel paranormal shows where it's the person talking about their creepy/spooky experience with some of the action interacted over the narration. I thought it was going to be actual stories but it isn't. It was a major letdown because me and the husbear love spooky stuff to watch. We stopped mid-way through the second episode.

Thanks OP. Haven't heard of this and will be watching. It's John Carpenter - a master. The trailer looks a bit Stephen King-ish. It looks great.

Oh well that took the wind out of my sails R3. Sad face.

Sorry R4, OP - Definitely try it out, you may like it. The name John Carpenter had us both excited and I'll say that I was really surprised at the format they used considering Carpenter's involvement. But he's kind of old now and maybe his name got attached to it without him really being that heavily involved with the actual production style, who knows. Try it for yourselves though and don't take my word for it.

Thank you but no it sounds awful R6. I hate those kind of Discovery Channel paranormal shows and would never watch any of them. I'll give it a go but that trailer is very misleading. Actually, knowing what it is now - I don't even think I'm going to watch it. It's not something I would enjoy.

It's not that good and it's cliche in structure.

Some may like it. Just because someone does not like it doesn’t mean you won’t.
