Rollins put a poll up a few days ago that called the race a "dead heat" showing him leading Calvert by one percent: 45% - 44%.

It's the other 11% that he needs to convince.

Unfortunately, the prediction at The Hill still shows this race "Likely GOP" with their model showing Calvert having an 82% chance of winning.

Once again, it looks like it's coming down to getting the vote out.

It's very close but Rollins needs to campaign more in some of the places where Calvert has a stronghold.

Unfortunately, this district was seriously gerrymandered and the fascist trash in Temecula will probably always win this race.

R46 Temecula isn't in the 41st Congressional district that Calvert and Rollins are running in. Temecula is further south in the 48th District represented by MAGA-incumbent, Darrell Issa.

The latest poll from last week still shows Rollins and Calvert dead even at 45% -45%.

One issue now is any place he would move to in order to try to do that, he'd probably be labeled a carpetbagger. That charge was leveled against him when he moved to this district for his run in 2022. He probably wouldn't take on an existing Dem seat, unless someone retired. It seems the seats held by Rethugs in the area have longtime supporters, like Calvert here, so none of them seem easy. We're fortunate that George Whitesides was able to turn California 27 blue in another close race north of L.A.
