Am I the only one who finds John Turturro extremely unattractive? You couldn't pay me to fuck him.

Turturro doesn't bother me. I don't want to marry him, but he doesn't repulse me. That would be Adam Driver. I tried watching that movie about the Guccis, but could not abide looking at him.

Am I the only one who finds Maya Hawke unattractive? Nepo baby looks just like papa, and that weird off-kilter appeal does not translate well with two X chromosomes.

I’m not familiar with her work, but I found her tedious as Lenny’s daughter in ‘Maestro’.

Maya Hawke looks like Linda Tripp.

Maya inherited the worst physical attributes of both her parents.

Among relatively well-known actors, he's a good choice.

But, he's no William Holden.

I suppose the making of Fedora gives you Wilder and Holden but so would the making of Sunset Boulevard.

She's no looker. Nepotism is alive and well and living its best life through all these no-talent Hollywood babies.

She looks like Ethan if he had gone to Dartmouth and transed his sophomore year.

There must be at least three people out there who want to see a movie about Billy Wilder.

I tried to read the book this is based on but it stunk. Jonathan Coe can be a great writer but this was not one of his better efforts.

Unfortunately, the way Hamm looks these days he might meet an unfortunate end like Holden -- hopefully not as messy.

Another movie no one will see.

Hamm should have no problem playing a alcoholic.

I predict he'll actually pull a great performance out of his ass.

Not a huge Hamm fan, but i do think he has it in him.

Bill Holden was a sexy man, even towards the end of his life. I think Hamm is inspired casting for the role. I'm looking forward to seeing this movie when it's eventually released.

William Holden was a very handsome guy for a lot of his life. He was also a blond/light brown (until he was older). Hamm seems on the swarthy, heavy-featured side and not handsome enough to play Holden.

How much self-awareness and insight does Hamm have? How does an active alcoholic approach the role of a man who died from the disease without some reckoning about himself?

R3, that photo doesn't do him justice. He is not someone who will likely catch your eye, but he is certainly not unattractive. He is also incredibly kind, gentle and humble.

I met John Turturro a few years ago. He is magnetic in person.

The fact that we're debating this shows that Hamm might actually be tailor-made for this role.

He's handsome and he's (or was) a drunk. So was Holden. And he's not a terribly actor as well.

I wonder if they will lighten Hamm's hair a bit, if not to Holden blonde than to a lighter brown. That could look great on him.

John Turturro and Maya Hawke are terrible actors.

And there's not one fan of Fedora, even in a "so bad it's good" kind of way, so who exactly do they think the audience is for this?

Holden was no longer handsome when he did Fedora. In Network he looked about 70. He was still in his 50s

I had an urge to watch Fedora about a month ago. It's on YouTube. I saw it at college about a year after it came out, I think. I thought one the dumbest things about it was having Michael York play himself, as a character in the film. It would have worked much better if they had created a fictional film star with a different name and just had Michal York play him. Another thing was that both Marthe Keller and Hildegarde Knef seemed to have been dubbed. It was a weak story (and far fetched) to base a film on. Holden was good as usual, though. So was Jose Ferrer.

The name for the star, "Fedora," is also silly.

Well, it was 1/4 of a novel. They should have done a mini-series of Crowned Heads at the time.

Actors either have it or they don't.

Mad Men made it because of him. I'm not a big fan of him, but he has IT. Anyone that thinks that's not true is deluded.

I'm not taking into account his personal stuff. Not even taking into account of his obvious big dick.
