Especially with some of the language Iger has used in the last year about wanting to "entertain first, not push messages." Which tbh might work out for Joe long-term, that kind of prince role might be something he has a better shot at in his mid-20s.

I was thinking the same about Strangeworld but this sounds like more of a classic fairytale like the old 90s movies were and the villain in the book is this evil princess, which feels more like the old classic Disney villains, which might work in its favour because of the backlash against the lack of good villains in recent Disney movies. It could be something another studio picks up just to do it first before Disney does, Sony would be pretty cool because spider verse is killing it.
