Some highlights-
Practically everybody at Act Up, himself included, was having sex with other members of the group.
David Geffen, during in a casual conversation with Peter's boyfriend at the time while on Fire Island, learned about Peter's idea to stage an Act Up demo at Jesse Helms' suburban Washington home where a giant condom would be placed over it. The organization unfortunately didn't have the necessary funds to pay for a giant condom to be made. Later on, David walked over to the house where Peter was at and put a large wad of cash into his hands to pay for it.
After Act Up, Peter became addicted to Chem Sex.
