Oh, this guy used to date Juan Pablo Dipace. Or however it’s spelled. Before Juan came out that is. Josh was Juan’s little secret.

He likes doing vocal runs in his singing which I don't like.

He has a nice voice but his style is very “variety”. He’ll probably do well doing cover songs on YouTube or could perform cover songs on “Dancing with the Stars” or something so he could make it into a career that way.

But todays music is about indie music and hip-hop and country. Sounds like he wants to make sappy Ryan Tedder ballads. He’s not hip enough to actually make music to sell. He can sell his voice with cover songs and Christmas songs and etc but I don’t think he could have a hit song or sell music.

I don't like any nasal quality and I don't like "plaintive" or "sensitive" stylings and he indulges in both. I feel it sounds like singers are straining to squeeze out "musical turds". I like flat out singing. I don't even mind if the key is imprecise if the person is singing straightforward mechanically and honestly with the heart and mind. I think it takes a very talented and gifted singer to add all these stylings and when they are not gifted, it rings false to me.

He has a sweet voice. It’s unfortunate that most singers today feel they have to showboat with over-embellishment. It’s great when elders here post songs, often of female vocalists pre 1980, where the singer has strong vocals, but their own style.

On the upside, he's really good looking. And it must be helpful for a really good looking person to have an identical twin. Very handsome people often feel like they have created their good looks, but these kinds of twins always shows how much is the luck of genetics.

I do like his cover of Human Nature. I think he did really well with this one and didn’t overdo the showboating riffs.

Material is weak and that clouds my judgment. I would love to hear this generation of singers actually sing some old classics and standards, better to judge them by. They all want to over sing (American Idol effect?) I'd like to hear him sing 'moonlight in Vermont' or anything from the Sinatra playbook. Anything that makes them stop with the gimmicks.

He’s a Texan boy. Born and raised in Dallas I believe. Moved to LA after college. Has been there since. Him and brother performed together on XFactor but I don’t think they got anywhere. Rightfully so. They didn’t sound good.

He doesn’t have to sell anything. He isn’t some kid. He went to college and works a 9-5. He just hopes to be able to ditch the job one day and make music his full time career. He funds his music and videos etc. himself. He’s not signed to anyone. It’s 100% independent and he says you would be shocked how much it costs to rent a studio to record. It isn’t cheap. So he has to work to do this.

He’s 34 now. Born and raised in a small town outside Houston, TX. From a Christian home. His grandfather was a Pastor. He’s 6’2 and very handsome. He lived in Austin for a few years before moving to Los Angeles and has been there since. He travels when he can too. His favorite place to visit is Spain. He loves Spain. He’s been numerous times to various parts and loves all of them. He’s traveled through most of Italy and all around Europe. He wants to go to Brazil next.

As far as the states, his favorite cities besides LA are Miami and NYC as well as the big TX cities. The issue with TX for him is the music scene is very country and not as much music venues as there are in places like LA or NYC or Nashville. He said he considered moving to Nashville because they have a massive music scene now but it’s country and he sings bubblegum pop or poppy R&B, not country, even though he grew up on a lot of country music. He plans on visiting Miami soon because he misses it and plans on visiting NYC for Halloween time because he heard NY is fun during Halloween and he hasn’t experienced it. Someone told him NOLA is the place that has the best Halloweens.

He is in a serious relationship and when someone mentioned how tall and handsome he is and that he’s probably a heartbreaker he said no, he tries not to be but it can be hard sometimes but he’s the one who usually gets his heart broken in relationships. Most of his exes have done him dirty, which leads him to write songs. He said his song “Love You Enough” was written because of his previous relationship being so hard and difficult and abusive.

He also said he is gay and didn’t really come to terms with it or even acknowledge it until he left TX and moved to LA. In TX he only dated women because that was what he felt he was “supposed” to do even if he wasn’t into it but once he moved to LA and got to meet different people etc. he sort of came to terms with his sexuality and realized women aren’t for him, he’s gay. He came out and has been out since and says he feels no shame about it but he doesn’t like to announce hes gay because straight people don’t have to announce they’re straight so why should gay people have to.

Handsome and a beautiful voice. Both a winning combination. But is that enough to make him a star? No, it's not. There are plenty who are making it big in the music business who don't have anywhere near his good looks or his vocal talent. That's the sad fact about the entertainment industry. You don't make it big with just talent and looks.

And then there's the gay. It's one thing to make it big and then reveal you're gay. It's quite another to start out with that albatross hovering over you. It's just one more thing he may or may not overcome to enable him to enjoy a good career.

He will probably never become the big pop star he hopes to be, no. But that doesn’t mean there can’t be a career at all. There are tons of middle to lower tier performers who have their little built in fan bases out there.

His best bet is getting into musical theater but he’s too stubborn to get it.
