by Anonymousreply 3January 20, 2024 2:01 AM

by Anonymousreply 4January 20, 2024 2:06 AM

She's butch!

by Anonymousreply 5January 20, 2024 2:18 AM

Windows are the eyes of the room and the valance...the valance is our eyebrows.

My client's and Miss Eliot's marriage resulted in many successful films Including "Inner Urges", "Human Instinct" and "Animal Nature" in which she played a sensuous veterinarian.

by Anonymousreply 8January 20, 2024 2:34 AM

So, what's going on in there? Is it just lot of battered women dancing?

by Anonymousreply 9January 20, 2024 2:36 AM

Who?! Guns ‘N Roses?!

by Anonymousreply 10January 20, 2024 2:37 AM

R8 No!

It is My client's and Miss Eliot's marriage resulted in many successful films Including "Inner Urges," "Human Instinct," and, my personal favorite, "Animal Nature" in which she played a sensuous veterinarian.

I feel like everyone can relate to one of the main three.

I am the Annie/Diane Keaton character.

Angela Lansbury is Monique's mother.

Shelley Winters is Monique's mother.

Sean Connery is Monique's mother.... Wait.... I take that back... Sean Connery is Monique's boyfriend. He might be 300 years old, but he's still a stud.

by Anonymousreply 15January 20, 2024 2:50 AM

Daddy? I'm a Lesbian. A big one.

by Anonymousreply 16January 20, 2024 2:51 AM

I remember when I watched it in the theaters thinking, "Sarah Jessica Parker is certainly washed up for good."

by Anonymousreply 17January 20, 2024 2:53 AM

by Anonymousreply 28January 20, 2024 3:30 AM

R18 what kind of homosexual?

by Anonymousreply 29January 20, 2024 3:30 AM

This is delicious! Usually, I bring my own dressing, that fat-free ranch stuff. But this is restaurant quality!

by Anonymousreply 30January 20, 2024 3:31 AM

R18 is the kind of homosexual that goes on gay cruises.

by Anonymousreply 31January 20, 2024 3:33 AM

Lamborghini!

by Anonymousreply 32January 20, 2024 3:33 AM

by Anonymousreply 33January 20, 2024 3:38 AM

Your lips!

by Anonymousreply 39January 20, 2024 4:05 PM

by Anonymousreply 48January 20, 2024 8:20 PM

It's Eileen HEckart, OP! Turn in your gay card!

by Anonymousreply 49January 20, 2024 8:25 PM

[quote]R40 The book was completely different. Quite a bit more dramatic.

Bette’s character went lez in the novel.

Of course, we couldn’t have that…

by Anonymousreply 53September 30, 2024 1:17 AM

R53 It would be believable if she did

by Anonymousreply 54September 30, 2024 1:19 AM

“Well, I mean I supervise.” I’ve used that a lot.

by Anonymousreply 55September 30, 2024 1:23 AM

[quote]R54 It would be believable if she did

She also loses a ton of weight because her new love (a real estate agent?) is a health food nut who introduces her to well prepared, natural foods.

by Anonymousreply 56September 30, 2024 2:48 AM

"No one wanted to see Michael Douglas bag old lions, they wanted to see three lying old bags!"

by Anonymousreply 57September 30, 2024 2:55 AM

Bette picks up Goldie's Oscar and pretends to read on it "I Beat Meryl!"

by Anonymousreply 58September 30, 2024 3:07 AM

And on such pretty stationery.

by Anonymousreply 59September 30, 2024 3:20 AM

Cone on! Teach her a lesson!

by Anonymousreply 60September 30, 2024 3:20 AM

I have feelings! I’m an actress! I have ALL of them!

by Anonymousreply 61September 30, 2024 3:21 AM

Who? Guns N Roses?!

by Anonymousreply 62September 30, 2024 3:21 AM

Motha! Motha where are you? OVER HERE, BITCH.

by Anonymousreply 63September 30, 2024 3:24 AM

You should have done your homework Bill. I did.

by Anonymousreply 64September 30, 2024 3:33 AM

Apparently it went through a ton of re-editing before its release. The trailer shows a fight physical fight between midler and Parker at the department store that didn’t make into the Final Cut of the movie.

Jon Stewart’s part as a love interest for Goldie was completely cut out and Heather locklear and James naughton were almost completely cut out. I think there was supposed to be a snarky comment one of them made about Kathie Lee after she interviewed them that got cut out as well.

by Anonymousreply 65September 30, 2024 3:34 AM

Jennifer Dundas was kind of the turd in the punch bowl in the movie.

by Anonymousreply 66September 30, 2024 3:37 AM

The four actresses who played their younger selves at the beginning of the film were uncanny. It sounds like Bette, Goldie, Diane and Stockard dubbed their voices but the physical resemblance was spot on.

by Anonymousreply 67September 30, 2024 3:44 AM

Goldie deserved a supporting actress nomination.

by Anonymousreply 68September 30, 2024 4:30 AM

Can you imagine Faye Dunaway as Elyse? Allegedly, she auditioned. GUNILLA, PLEASE!

by Anonymousreply 69September 30, 2024 10:08 AM

“He brought HER! to my son’s Bar Mitzvah!”

“…Is she a gift?”
