Just started watching. I think the movie is brilliant. The series so far… not as funny.
Does it get better?

Yes. It's better than the movie

I loved the movie but was so-so on the series at first. I found that I just had to stop comparing it to the movie and appreciate it on its own. Then the show became very funny to me.

I love the show. Nadja is my favorite. I was lukewarm on Colin Robinson, but he grew on me. Next season will be the last one. How has no one licensed the Nadja doll for sale?

Colin Robinson kills me every time. I love that guy

IMO, the greatest scene in the whole series:
(Please excuse the Kinemaster crap - this one had the better pic and volume)

I love both the movie and the series almost beyond reason.
The latter is far raunchier and benefits from more characters and even some character arcs.
My favorite episode was when they were nearly exposed during a live news segment outside their home in Staten Island followed by a very, very poorly planned attack on the local news studio. Completely gonzo.

It gets better with every season, OP. (OK, the Baby Colin plot line wasn't my favorite, but that was rarely the A-plot in that season. And they have yet to figure out what to do with The Guide.) But I've watched the later seasons more than once. Djinn! Call me!

Baby Colin was hilarious to me. It hit on all the energy vampire ways kids drain the life out of you and the absolute sadness when it's all over.

I was obsessed with the movie and then obsessed with the series, through season four. I just wanted to live in that world 24/7, it's so aesthetically rich and I love all of the characters SO much. And their relationships with each other are fascinating and hilarious.
Life must have gotten away from me, because I just decided to revisit the show, seeing as Halloween is in a few days, and there are TWO FULL MORE SEASONS now to watch! All of Season 5 and 6, no tricks, all treat!
Anyone else watching currently?

One of my favorite shows of all time.
I'm saving the final season for when I'm in a bad mood.
