Can you only subscribe monthly now?

I am on yearly with auto renewal - I see my next scheduled payment showing in my account.

Strange. Maybe you get to keep it if you already had annual, but new subscriptions are only offered the monthly option.

I should add that I cancelled my annual subscription auto renewal as I prefer to decide whether I want to renew each time, rather than it automatically being debited from my account.

So what on earth did you decide R2? Please tell everybody.

R1 here. I really dislike excessive swipes into my accounts - $19.99 a year for Datalounge is not excessive and I don't mind that one charge going through. What I don't want is 12 monthly charges @ $1.67 going in. There was a time a few years ago where it did not look like an annual subscription was possible, so I did not subscribe until the annual option was again available.

I'm having the same issue, OP. I just had to renew my subscription for the Feb-March cycle because I'm only offered the monthly option now. For some reason, when my yearly subscription ended in January, I no longer had the $19.99 per year option.

This does not bode well.

Personally, I think this is sad last days for DL. It’s easier to end subscriptions when they are monthly rather than refund annual subscriptions.

Hopefully it’s a glitch that will be fixed. Why would a site offer only monthly instead of yearly? There is only one logical reason I can think of. If that’s the one, I’d start posting like there’s no tomorrow. Carpe diem, bitches!

It’s not a glitch R11. If you don’t have a yearly subscription the only option now is to sign up monthly.

I had an annual subscription that expired in July but when I tried to renew (on phone and on laptop) only monthly was available. I dislike paying by month plus for some reason it’s not automatic so I have to manually subscribe each time.

I've been on DL since 2019, having multiple accounts on DL would be too exhausting, I do have 5 fake accounts on FB. But I get to torture some people I grew up with on certain fake accounts. Plus, I sexually torment Pakistani men's on FB, that is fun.

The last automatic subscription payment Mediapolis charged my credit card for was for the $19.99 annual plan and was identified as "GROCERIES."
