Bradley Cooper’s face after Cillian Murphy’s speech

You can tell he’s forcing a grin. So funny. It’s all in the eyes.

Loser!

by Anonymousreply 1January 8, 2024 5:14 AM

He looks fat, and botoxed.

by Anonymousreply 2January 8, 2024 5:16 AM

All that Oscat bait, and nobody's biting.

by Anonymousreply 3January 8, 2024 5:16 AM

Fuck him. Glad he didn't win.

by Anonymousreply 4January 8, 2024 5:16 AM

And trying not to get plastered, R3.

by Anonymousreply 5January 8, 2024 5:17 AM

Meant R2.

by Anonymousreply 6January 8, 2024 5:18 AM

Don't cry out loud...

by Anonymousreply 7January 8, 2024 5:18 AM

He’s screaming in his pillow right now.

by Anonymousreply 8January 8, 2024 5:19 AM

Loser. Failure.

No Oscar for you, CUNT.

by Anonymousreply 9January 8, 2024 5:19 AM

He does not look fat but looks a bit bloated in the face, probably from recent work he had done to his face

by Anonymousreply 10January 8, 2024 5:20 AM

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

by Anonymousreply 11January 8, 2024 5:20 AM

I really feel sorry for the guy...

by Anonymousreply 12January 8, 2024 5:20 AM

That's the last time I will EVER be attending a high school reunion for a little bit of publicity!!!!!!

by Anonymousreply 13January 8, 2024 5:22 AM

If I could, I would order a champagne glass full of Bradley Cooper's BITTER TEARS!!

by Anonymousreply 14January 8, 2024 5:23 AM

The closet kills your chances of winning major awards

by Anonymousreply 15January 8, 2024 5:26 AM

Maestro was a shit movie. I wanted to like it but it was mediocre at best. His performance felt like a performance. Unnatural. He didn’t feel like a person but a puppet.

by Anonymousreply 16January 8, 2024 5:26 AM

R15 in reality it’s the opposite. But you wouldn’t know that.

by Anonymousreply 17January 8, 2024 5:26 AM

Lmao this is so funny

by Anonymousreply 18January 8, 2024 5:27 AM

[quote] His performance felt like a performance. Unnatural. He didn’t feel like a person but a puppet.

There is no real Bradley Cooper.

It's only Bradley Cooper the actor. The performer.

He's so fake and phony, I don't even know who he really is.

by Anonymousreply 19January 8, 2024 5:29 AM

Cillian was superb. I don't know how Cooper ever got the career he has, not talented nor good looking. Who did he fuck?

by Anonymousreply 20January 8, 2024 5:31 AM

I'm not really sure why, but Bradley Cooper incites a reaction in my very core. I intensely dislike him and will run away from anything and everything he is attached to.

I've never felt such intense dislike for another actor before. Lady Gaga is maybe on par with him.

by Anonymousreply 21January 8, 2024 5:33 AM

Imagine making a film about Leonard, and choosing to focus on his 'marriage'.

by Anonymousreply 22January 8, 2024 5:33 AM

To think, Jake Gyllenhaal was originally wanting to make a movie about Leonard for years until Bradley bought the rights so he could make it and star in it over Gyllenhaal.

I wonder if Jake would have focused more on the career.

by Anonymousreply 23January 8, 2024 5:37 AM

He was also thinking:

Wait till they get a load of me

And where, oh where, is the Bat Man?

Ever dance with the devil by the pale moonlight?

Who’s that? I like her.

by Anonymousreply 24January 8, 2024 5:37 AM

I don’t get the hate for Bradley, but I guess the internet always needs a whipping boy during award season.

by Anonymousreply 25January 8, 2024 5:38 AM

Well at least Bradley got to fuck Matt Bomer.

by Anonymousreply 26January 8, 2024 5:38 AM

R25 it’s his thirst. Twitter and tiktok turned on him too. He is way too thirsty in a way that is so obvious it turns people off. Same thing that happened to Anne Hathaway during awards season for Les Mis. People turned on her for being so insufferable and thirsty. Difference is she swept awards season while Bradley isn’t.

by Anonymousreply 27January 8, 2024 5:41 AM

R26 no. He didn’t.

by Anonymousreply 28January 8, 2024 5:41 AM

R25 Imagine, choosing to make a film about Lenny, and focusing not on WWS or Candide, or his Mass, but focusing on his 'marriage'. Bwahahah fuck Bradley.

by Anonymousreply 29January 8, 2024 5:41 AM

R27 But when Bradley was losing all the awards for A Star is Born, everyone loved him then, especially over Rami Malek. Just shows how fickle the haters on the internet can be.

by Anonymousreply 30January 8, 2024 5:42 AM

R29 He did get a great performance out of Carey Mulligan at least.

by Anonymousreply 31January 8, 2024 5:43 AM

R30 I don’t think people read him as thirsty at the time (even though many DLers could see it). They see it now.

Rami won rightfully.

by Anonymousreply 32January 8, 2024 5:44 AM

I also feel people loved A Star Is Born (it’s overrated) while most dislike Maestro.

by Anonymousreply 33January 8, 2024 5:45 AM

Greta Gerwig seems more thirsty to me

by Anonymousreply 34January 8, 2024 5:46 AM

R32 Rami’s win aged poorly lol

by Anonymousreply 35January 8, 2024 5:46 AM

Carey Mulligan is a great actress all on her own. She doesn't need BraCoop to pull it out of her.

by Anonymousreply 36January 8, 2024 5:46 AM

True, R31. If only he went the extra mile and forced her into a consistent accent.

by Anonymousreply 37January 8, 2024 5:48 AM

No. Rami’s win is fine. People just love to bitch. He gave an electric performance in a massive blockbuster that still gets played on tv weekly because people watch it.

by Anonymousreply 38January 8, 2024 5:49 AM

R36 correct. Shes just good on her own.

by Anonymousreply 39January 8, 2024 5:49 AM

[quote] He is way too thirsty in a way that is so obvious it turns people off. Same thing that happened to Anne Hathaway during awards season for Les Mis. People turned on her for being so insufferable and thirsty

Jamie Lee Curtis and Michell Yeo were just as thirsty last year, which made me hate both of them.

Unfortunately, JLC is a Hollywood Legacy favorite, and the other one is a - you know - so they weren't going to lose.

by Anonymousreply 40January 8, 2024 5:49 AM

Bradley Cooper: "Why did you nominate me???!!!!!!"

Awards Shows: "Maybe we did it for a little publicity."

by Anonymousreply 41January 8, 2024 5:52 AM

A lot of things are working against Cooper this time around. He’s been extra thirsty this time too, claiming he practiced learning how to lead an orchestra over the course of 6 years, etc.

Oh and don’t forget him not allowing people to sit on set while filming. Everyone had to stay standing at all times unless on a break to keep their “energy high”. Things like that probably made people roll their eyes.

by Anonymousreply 42January 8, 2024 5:56 AM

There's just something about him that's soulless and calculating.

by Anonymousreply 43January 8, 2024 5:58 AM

R42 No chairs on set, knew he had lost when that came out.

R43 Closet drives them crazy.

by Anonymousreply 44January 8, 2024 6:06 AM

He's a SERIOUS DIRECTOR!!

by Anonymousreply 45January 8, 2024 6:10 AM

- He's Just Not That Into You

by Anonymousreply 46January 8, 2024 6:11 AM

Didn't Christopher Nolan say something tonight about not letting people sit on set? I figured it was a dig at Cooper but didn't hear any more about it

by Anonymousreply 47January 8, 2024 6:33 AM

Does Bradley Cooper have a fantasy of being the first closeted actor to come out at his Oscar acceptance speech?

by Anonymousreply 48January 8, 2024 6:52 AM

And I thought that was a fake nose in Bernstein

by Anonymousreply 49January 8, 2024 11:27 PM

He's going to age badly. The picture at OP looks like he has already started to.

by Anonymousreply 50January 8, 2024 11:37 PM

R50 he’s 49… yes. He’s aged.

by Anonymousreply 51January 8, 2024 11:38 PM

He looks like he wants to shank a bitch.

by Anonymousreply 52January 8, 2024 11:54 PM

They don't really really like you

by Anonymousreply 53January 8, 2024 11:56 PM

His looks are more character actor than leading man

by Anonymousreply 54January 9, 2024 12:03 AM

I watched Maestro with a friend recently. He is far from an awards season watcher but commented:

"Bradley Cooper seems really desperate for an Oscar"

by Anonymousreply 63January 9, 2024 3:05 AM

Who do ya have to fuck to get some respect in this town??!!??

by Anonymousreply 64January 9, 2024 3:22 AM

When's he going to take off the prosthetic nose?

by Anonymousreply 65January 9, 2024 3:23 AM

The nom. The nom

by Anonymousreply 66January 9, 2024 3:24 AM

R63, that never happened.

by Anonymousreply 67January 9, 2024 8:51 AM

R67 I swear to God it did. He said it right at the end of the movie.

by Anonymousreply 68January 9, 2024 2:50 PM

I think he fell off a cliff at the time of American Sniper and has never regained his popularity.

by Anonymousreply 69January 9, 2024 3:33 PM

Like almost everyone on this thread, I don’t like him and haven’t watched most of his movies. Tried Mastro but the scenery chewing in the first twn minutes put me off.

However ,i do find those reaction shots from the losers a little bit cruel and unnecessary. Sure they are fun to watch, but they are always difficult to navigate. Look too happy you look a phony, look pissed, like a bitch and a sore loser, impassive and like you are dying inside. You cant almost never win this game.

by Anonymousreply 70January 9, 2024 3:50 PM

I don't think he's that talented or attractive but I don't hate him or avoid his movies.

by Anonymousreply 71January 9, 2024 3:53 PM

I liked him best when he was sitting in the stands watching his boyfriend Roger Federer playing tennis.

On another thread a poster asked if Leonard Bernstein was a top or a bottom - and another poster answered that LB was a top. He had seen him "nail a sixteen year old" outside at some music festival.

Maybe that scene should have been in the movie!

by Anonymousreply 72January 9, 2024 4:12 PM

I'm the opposite of most of you, because I'm a big fan. Since The Hangover, I've seen all of his theatrically released films in the theater, own most of if not all of his films on DVD and saw him on Broadway in The Elephant Man (he was robbed of the Tony for that role, IMO). I was delighted when he graciously took my phone outside of the theater and snapped a pic of us in amongst all the fraus and young fangirls.

by Anonymousreply 73January 9, 2024 6:18 PM

I am clueless as to why this guy brings out some much anger and hate. He has a pretty significant body of work for a 49 year old actor- and he’s certainly a real film maker (I did think Maestro was flawed but always interesting). As for him being closeted- really how does anyone know this? I sure don’t and haven’t read anything to substantiate anything.

DL posters revealing their own frustrations and unhappiness. That’s what I see.

by Anonymousreply 74January 9, 2024 7:17 PM

[quote] As for him being closeted- really how does anyone know this? I sure don’t and haven’t read anything to substantiate anything.

I would substantiate for you, f@ggot, but I'm still collecting payments under the NDA.

by Anonymousreply 75January 9, 2024 7:26 PM

[quote] He’s screaming in his pillow right now

That’s funny, usually he just bites it. Perhaps Cillian is being particular hard on the Beaver 🦫

by Anonymousreply 76January 9, 2024 7:40 PM

Is there anything Palestinian celebrity Giggly Kardashian can do to help Bradley's campaign?

by Anonymousreply 77January 9, 2024 8:43 PM

[quote] I think he fell off a cliff at the time of American Sniper and has never regained his popularity.

That's exactly when I started hating him.

For this closet case to be glorifying right-wing MAGAT murderer Chris Kyle as some kind of "American Hero" was completely disgusting to me.

After he made that movie, Bradley Cooper was DEAD to me.

Right-wingers loved him for it, and I hope he can rely on their support in the future.

Because he certainly won't get any from me.

I think his Oscar nod for that and then American Hustle left a bad taste in many peoples mouths. It was laughable.

by Anonymousreply 79January 9, 2024 9:09 PM

He needs a cigarette. Two at a time as often as possible.

by Anonymousreply 80January 9, 2024 9:20 PM

American Sniper wasn't a bad movie but the performance wasn't remarkable in any way.

Eddie Redmayne, Michael Keaton, Benedict Cumberbatch and Steve Carell were all very good and deserved their nominations but the actors who missed out were justified in feeling aggrieved.

Channing Tatum for Foxcatcher? David Oyelowo for Selma? The Whiplash boy? The Boyhood boy? Ralph Fiennes for Grand Budapest Hotel? Jake Gyllenhaal for Foxcatcher? Timothy Spall for Mr Turner? Chadwick Boseman for Get On Up? Christoph Waltz for Big Eyes? Ben Schnetzer for Pride? Ben Affleck in Gone Girl? John Lithgow in Love Is Strange? Jamie Foxx for Annie?

That's an awful lot of grudges.

by Anonymousreply 81January 9, 2024 9:29 PM

Some of the actors you listed would be Supporting. Not Lead.

by Anonymousreply 82January 9, 2024 9:31 PM

THIS.

by Anonymousreply 83January 9, 2024 9:42 PM

Who, EXACTLY. WHO??

by Anonymousreply 84January 9, 2024 9:49 PM

[quote] Cillian was superb. I don't know how Cooper ever got the career he has, not talented nor good looking. Who did he fuck?

Well, me, but that doesn't account for his career.

by Anonymousreply 85January 9, 2024 10:44 PM

I saw a clip of Cooper in 'All About Steve' on reels lately and he looked so much better back then. It's not just aging, he had plastic surgery which made him look worse.

by Anonymousreply 86January 14, 2024 12:19 AM

His performance is 100 times better than Murphy's bug eyed single expression.

by Anonymousreply 87January 14, 2024 12:22 AM

Cooper is also a very good director. He pulled off a tour de force with Maestro, even if you cunts can't accept it.

by Anonymousreply 90January 14, 2024 4:15 PM

That face is the very definition of rage rictus.

by Anonymousreply 91January 14, 2024 5:19 PM

Everyone is thirsty for awards in Hollywood. The better actors just conceal it more. Even Frances McDormand, who pretends to not give a fuck, shows up to collect. I like Bradley. Maestro was a mixed bag. The fake nose thing distracted me. Why even fucking wear it? Even with it on, you’re not going to be Bernsteins twin anyway. Bradley thinks it worked for Nicole Kidman, it’ll work for me to finally bring home the gold. He loses points in my book for this. I think he will probably win in the next five years (not this year), but he’s gonna have to practice less is more in the acting department.

by Anonymousreply 92January 14, 2024 5:34 PM

I like his performances in general though his limitations as a actor were evident in the "Nightmare Alley" remake. He couldn't hold a candle to Tyrone Power. I like that he creates projects for himself. He'll improve as a director.

But he's so fucking thirsty, it's embarrassing. The high-school reunion thing - omg. And then there's the beards - ugh.

by Anonymousreply 93January 14, 2024 6:51 PM

R90 They're all desperate for an Oscar, hon'.

by Anonymousreply 94January 14, 2024 7:36 PM

R92 - I think the chin prosthesic was worse. It jutted out almost as far as his nose. He reminded me of the puppet Madame sans Wayland Flowers' hand up his ass
