TELEVISION The New Battlestar Galactica Reboot Gets a Promising Update

I am generally not opposed to reboots. If you can make something good out of mediocre, I'm all about it. In this case, they already rebooted it, and they made something great out of mediocre. So, no, I'm not looking forward to this. My compromise: Try another spin-off of the 2003 reboot.

The 2003 reboot of "Battlestar Galactica" was one of the best television series EVER. I don't think they can catch lightning in a bottle again but I'll give it a try.

I don’t want a reboot. The series was excellent and isn’t that old.
I agree that some kind of spinoff would be better, but even with that, I’d approach with trepidation.

I loved the original. I loved the reboot.
But
Why??

We never really saw the 1th colony. I would welcome a look at the humanoid cyclons.

I loved that they ended it playing All Along the Watchtower.

This never ceases to amaze me. I heard all the hype and tried it and it was corny as fuck.
Same thing with “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.” All those raves! So I gave it a go. Absolute garbage!

I hope they figure out the whole story arc and how it ends this time, before they get started with production.
The previous reboot lost its way about midway into the second season (I'd say at the midseason Pegasus cliffhanger); they just didn't know where they were going.

What does this have to do with The Gilmore Girls?

What's with such low-placed tits?

It's to show off all that chest real estate. Really gets the scat lovers going.

The focus will be on more powerful women.

Leave it. Edward James Olmos, Mary McDonnell and Katee Sackoff were superb. You can't do better.

OMG, the epilogue. All Along the Watchtower. It doesn't get better than that.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | August 1, 2024 6:09 AM |
It was too much drama too little science.

R18 Were you expecting it to be a documentary?
by Anonymous | reply 19 | August 1, 2024 7:41 AM |
Doesn't Hollywood have any original ideas?
by Anonymous | reply 20 | August 1, 2024 8:10 AM |
I was expecting it to be more sci-fi than drama, R19.

Hopefully, the Resurrection Ship was out of range.
Leave things the way they were.

R21 It's the very definition of sci-fi.

Recalling the last supper with 9 as the prophet, I’m heartbroken!
