I'm quite fond of the Puerto Vallarta Botanical Gardens -- a totally different variety of plants than what I'm used to seeing.

I could never pick just one garden but Giverny in France is quite glorious. Monet attributed much of his artistic inspiration to it.

Another favourite is the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix. I’m from rural Canada originally and seeing cacti and desert plants and flowers is always so novel and exciting for me.

R3 (Mary!), you should visit the Majorelle garden in Marrakech if you ever get the chance. It's stunning and riddled with gay history.

I used to love Hodges Gardens in Louisiana but is gone with the wind.
Tyler, Texas rose garden is really intense. Longwood Gardens are best for the architecture Chicago Botanic Gardens for the clever use of hills in a genuinely flat landscape Montreal botanic garden for a romantic tryst I had there. Seoul in future will have an outstanding garden.
But I have to say my fave at the present time would be the adjacent Allerton-MacBryde National Tropical Botanjic Gardens on Kauai.

I also think beautiful golf courses should count as gardens. They are symbolic and even allegorical versions of nature within nature, in essence almost the same thing as a Japanese garden.

Thank you for the thread, OP. It is always nice to learn about new gardens to visit. I visited Chanticleer gardens outside of Philadelphia for the first time the year. I was particularly impressed by the potted plantings on the patio with many innovative combinations.

The 45 hectar Mainau Island lies just off the shores of Lake Constance the far south-west of Germany, close to Switzerland and Austria. The over 150 year old Arboretum with giant sequoias welcomes you to relax and enjoy nature seasons. Around a million tulips, rhododendrons, scented roses, perennials and colourful dahlias bloom in the park and gardens. Palms and citrus plants lend a Mediterranean flair to the island in summer. The Teutonic castle completed in 1746 and the castle church St. Marien are architectural highlights of the Baroque era and stand in close proximity to 15 metre tall palm trees. Not only nature and garden lovers and relaxation seekers come to the island but also many families. Children can play at inspiring adventure playgrounds.

Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park -- though, to be fair, it's the sculptures amidst the gardens that make it special.

Another favorite garden is the bush above and surrounding a man's bait and tackle. I particularly love making my way down his treasure trail with kisses, my fingers, or my tongue. It is great to take in the sweet smell of his full bush and the creepers that often cover his nuts. Oftentimes his trail continues behind his nuts (or sweet cherries) to his Gates of paradise. And exploring that cave that awaits me with my tongue, fingers, and cock is ever so delightful. I end up slamming my own bushy garden against the Rocks of Gibraltar that lead to the entrance to that cave.
