If that truly is her newborn daughter’s head wrapped in the plaid blanket then the head is also freakishly big because Paris has very big hands. Newborns have tiny heads.

Newborns have big heads. The brain and head doesn’t grow like the rest of the body. The head is what is so difficult to push out during labor. If you were drawing an infant, the head would be at least 1/3 of the body length. In an adult, the head would be scaled to about 1/7 of the body.

That being said, neither of my kids had the shape of head—Huge top, tiny chin.

There is actually a baby inside of that wrapped melon, the photo was just taken at an awful angle. The newborn's ability to pose and find its light is SO not hot!
