Charlie Sheen has reportedly found himself as the victim of a house intrusion after one of his neighbors allegedly stormed into his home and attacked him.
TMZ spoke with law enforcement, reporting that the situation went down on Wednesday, Dec. 20, when a 47-year-old woman who lives in the neighborhood "forced her way" into the actor's Los Angeles home and attempted to strangle him.
After the Two and a Half Men alum heard a knock at the door, he opened it, only to be confronted with the woman, who is alleged to have barged in, ripped his shirt and tried to choke him.
The woman is then said to have gone back to her own house, while Sheen, 58, called 911. Paramedics arrived on the scene, but the actor was not transported to the hospital.
The woman was later arrested at her home and booked for assault with a deadly weapon and burglary. It is still unclear what prompted the incident.
It's said, however, that Wednesday's altercation wasn't the first time Sheen has had to deal with the same neighbor, as the actor also told the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department he believes the same woman recently vandalized his car with some sort of "sticky liquid."
A source close to Sheen also told TMZ that the Platoon actor spoke to the woman after the car incident and that they agreed to let "bygones be bygones."
However, sources also said that the woman is believed to have dumped trash in front of Sheen's door just one day prior to the attack.
Sheen has not yet made any public statements regarding the situation.
