It’s a wig.

Why can't she maintain her classic look with the long flowing tresses? She's only 73, for God's sake!

I have more of a problem with her makeup than her wig.

I have a tic or a bad habit of de-wigging women who have bad looking wigs. Good thing I haven’t run into Morgan or she’d be wigged one minute and bald the next

And he's been smiling ear-to-ear these days, so he must know something.

When Fairchild first started showing up in that wig (back in August) she told followers that it was a short wig that she was wearing, because she was prepping for a stage role, which included her putting on this HUMONGOUS "Marie Antoinette" period wig during part of the play; so one imagines having to get into that thing for every performance would make trying to keep her own hair in order difficult. This play ran for nearly two months into mid-November.

Is she storing food for the winter in those cheeks?

Here's a Getty Image of her. Before she started wearing the big hair and heavy makeup. Before breast implants. Lighting blows out the texture of her skin, so hard to tell what kind of skin she has.

I kinda like the wig on her — were it better quality, I think it would look great.

Her face is swollen, which suggests steroids, and a wig would be consistent with a bad medical condition, so I'm just going to wish her the very best.

She’s still got hair, probably a lot of it, and is stuffing it under a wig to go out with less work. She doesn’t know how/doesn’t care enough to do it well and the wig sits high on her head.

I actually think its great. Hair styles is what keeps older women looking young, up to a certain point. Then it can just look ridiculous and fake. This style is totally appropriate for someone her age and I don't assume its a wig based on these pics

The way you can tell it's a wig is because it's just a constant swirl of hair around her head, without beginning or end.

I knew her former husband Jack Calmes back in the 80s, after they had divorced. He was always very cagey if the subject of his former wife came up. I got the feeling their union was not a happy one. I don't think she ever married again. Lesbo?

She was one of the first and most adamant supporters in Hollywood of gay men during the AIDS crisis and she is fabulously smart and funny and politically active still today - it turns out I love her and I was only a baby during her 80s heyday

R3 - she looks nothing like she used to. I know how you can age into looking like Paris Hilton.

The quality isn't great but the newer, shorter length is more flattering to her.

She just needs to find a better quality wiglet, and a more talented queen to zhush it up once it's on her head.

She had a mike for audience members to ask her questions, and someone wanted her to dish on working with Morgan Fairchild, and at first Bernhard refused to, but then made a passing snide comment about Fairchild's "creepy little feet" that was pretty funny.
