R11 there are some really bizarre cases of people reacting like that to ssris. Peaceful people treated for depression, end up going frantic like that . One guy carved up his girlfriend and displayed the corpse, another woman killed her husband and children, and another woman went from law abiding and shy to suddenly stealing her dads gun and committing armed robbery on a Pizza Hut. Those three are easy to look up. There are several research websites listing the drugs and the sudden behavior change.

In France a psychiatrist was convicted of prescribing ssri and upping the dose until the guy killed somebody and himself. Unmedicated people are also prone to abnormal and violent behavior but in many cases its induced. That’s why a lot of docs in that field now prescribe antipsychotics instead of ssris. I’m a research coordinator and had to read the heinous reports.
