The Money Pit with Shelley Long and Tom Hanks

Tom Hanks and Shelley Long are great in it but every scene with the Maestro, played by Alexander Godunov, drags it down. It would have been a great film had all of his scenes were cut and it just consisted of Shelley, Tom, and Maureen Stapleton.

one of my favorites; especially after I restored my first house...ahem

I like how the usually refined Philip Bosco played against type

Shelley was great in this!

Maureen Stapleton made everything she was in better. She actually deserved the Oscar for her final scene in "Aiport" alone--more so than that coy dwarf who got it for slumming.

A modern day remake could actually be better if it just focused on the house, used more slapstick as well as dry humor, and cut out the romance scenes.

One of the funniest movies I have ever seen.

The scene where the bathtub 🛀 falls had me losing my breath and my fam told me to calm down.

Brilliant.

That should be the title of a documentary about German cars.

R6 it was hilarious but my favorite part was when he got stuck in the hole in the ceiling and the rug was the only thing holding him up.

I love the ending

I love the turkey scene and when Hanks winds up in the fountain with the peeing cherub.

My favorite Hanks movie by far!!!!!

And I must have watched some 30 of his movies.

“Honey, you’re on my fingers”

OMG that was hilarious as well. “For a while I even thought the Care Bears were here”.

They don’t make them like that anymore.

“Paint, don’t tickle”.

He was very good in that role, too.
