But could have a non-American director, writer, producer, movie stars

My choices:

I can't name 3 because I'm not a fan of horror, but I really like "The Sentinel". It's a very eerie film.

R2 One of my favorite’s too! I felt like I was the only one that remembered it.

The Changeling with George C. Scott.

The Conjuring (l)

The Thing 1982 Jaws The Day After

Night of the Living Dead is the antithesis of a "Hollywood" horror film.

by Anonymousreply 13December 3, 2023 9:12 AM

The Blob

Invasion of the Body Snatchers

The Fly

Science horror.

Coma really terrified me as a kid. Richard Widmark was marvelously sinister, and Genvieve Bujold brought just the right mix of beauty, angst, and intelligence to her role.
