What’s taking so long? Do you still think anything’s going to happen to him legally speaking preventing him from winning the presidency?
Is Trump going to jail?

Biden will have to defeat him the old-fashioned way, no judge will schedule sentencing before election day. Those lawsuits preventing him from being on the ballot are failing one by one as well.

The Colorado 14th Amendment case will go up on appeal. It’s not dead. It’s just resting.

Biden took a hand’s off approach and Garland was reluctant to prosecute until the House Committee forced his hands. Now Trump is throwing other people’s money at his lawyers to raise frivolous arguments to delay.

The only way he’ll probably ever see the inside of a jail cell, unfortunately, is if he visits Jr’s cocaine dealer in one. At this point, Dump needs to die.
by Anonymous | reply 4 | December 2, 2023 2:19 PM |
No, obviously not, at least in the short term (i.e., before the 2024 election).

I think Haley will be the candidate, which is both great and bad. It great because we will no longer have to worry about that psychopath. But bad because she probably can beat Biden.
But…even if she beats Biden, she’s not a lunatic and we’ll only hate her in the way we hated George W. A more normal hate. Not living in daily fear that democracy will be destroyed.

Who knows, but the way his life is enchanted and never held accountable for anything he's ever done wrong, he'll probably get home confinement at Mar a Lago with time during the day to play golf for "recess".

Dozens of civil suits are popping-up, and it appears he won't be immune to them.
So keep those donation$ coming!
by Anonymous | reply 9 | December 2, 2023 3:56 PM |
R6 how would Haley be the gop nominee when trump is so far ahead in the polls? Wishful thinking?
by Anonymous | reply 10 | December 2, 2023 4:05 PM |
Dump has already said if convicted, he'd basically run for President from a jail cell. He's going to dig in because re-election is his only chance of avoiding dying in jail.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | December 2, 2023 4:06 PM |
Christ. Can you imagine Nikki Haley of all fucking people, being America’s first female president? I’d take her over trump though.

The Koch trolls are really pushing hard for Nimrata here on the DL. Ain't gonna happen, your racist MAGAts aren't voting for an Indian woman. Sorry, Koch trolls.
If you want to waste your money, there's a lot of worthy causes that you could contribute to, like homelessness or the environment. And you'd receive a tax writeoff for that (which I know is all you really care about).

I wonder if Turd is money-laundering donations from his legal pacs into his pockets? How can you spend $27 million on lawyers in just the first half of 2023?!
by Anonymous | reply 14 | December 2, 2023 4:20 PM |
As a matter of national security, the CIA will not allow him to be President. The election will be rigged in favor of Biden.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | December 2, 2023 4:21 PM |
R15 we can only hope. This is getting scary.
by Anonymous | reply 16 | December 2, 2023 4:32 PM |
Wouldn't it be better if it was him instead of DeSantis?

No, but I think you will be happy with the outcome, somewhat
by Anonymous | reply 18 | December 2, 2023 4:38 PM |
Of course there's either a skim operation or money laundering R14. Everything Dump does is a grift.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | December 2, 2023 4:40 PM |
That just sounds like bogus deep state shit r15.
by Anonymous | reply 20 | December 2, 2023 5:42 PM |
The CIA has no ability to rig a US National election which is supervised by multiple layers of local, country and state authorities.
by Anonymous | reply 21 | December 2, 2023 5:46 PM |
No. Prison is only for the poor, the middle class and the powerless.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | December 2, 2023 5:50 PM |
Does Trump have tasters?
by Anonymous | reply 23 | December 2, 2023 5:55 PM |
If there was truly a shadowy cabal inside the CIA somewhere willing to do whatever it takes to protect the nation Trump would be dead. He should never have been allowed near the presidency once let alone twice. Nobody will save us but us.

The problem is the "Good guys" are playing by the Rule book- i.e. following the channels of Justice as Proscribed by the Constitution. Meanwhile the "Bad guys" are busy burning all the Rule books....
Which one gets to the Finish Line first?

We lived in fear of that too under GWB, too.

Huh?
by Anonymous | reply 27 | December 2, 2023 7:07 PM |
Yes. Under Haley, democracy might survive another couple years but social security will not.
As she has said. Repeatedly. On-camera.
Vote accordingly.

If that were “The truth”, we wouldn’t have had him in the first place.

“We believe in law and order, but our main guy is headed to prison and since he’s our guy we don’t like that. Only little people follow rules, God says so.”
by Anonymous | reply 30 | December 2, 2023 8:31 PM |
No. Not ever. Look forward to him being president again. Get passports ready now.
