She was the biggest asshole to Terry Gross I've ever come across. What a complete cunt. One of the most painful interviews - absolutely excruciating. I would have kicked that cunt out the door if I was Terry - but she handled it with professionalism and class.

R10, this article might answer your question. I’m not sure I’d characterize her as having been a “complete cunt” in the interview. But I understand R9’s reaction. And as moderate as she was compared to the justices appointed during the last administration, I still feel her vote in the Bush/Gore case was absolutely unforgivable. Even immoral.

You can really tell from OP's picture she was brought up/socialized to be a boy on a rough Arizona cattle ranch.

Her husband also died of a a dementia-related disease. He was in a memory care facility and forgot his marriage to her and found a new partner at his facility.

She destroyed her own legacy as a "moderate" by voting for Bush in Bush v. Gore and retiring when a Republican would replace her.
