Here is an example of Kit being exceptional as an actor. You can see Nick is completely in love with Charlie. The last scene was his best scene in the whole show. It was the first time you could believe Charlie was in love with Nick.

If we compare the way Charlie acts with Nick to what he was like with Ben, especially in the first clip, Joe makes the same expressions. I thought Charlie liked Ben the same amount as he liked Nick when I first watched the series because of the way Joe was acting. You don't see any difference in his expressions when he is with Nick.

Worry about your fav's career, like his movie that still shows no signs of life even while Amazon is releasing trailers for shows that come out in the spring and his current role as the least important family member of the least important main character and we'll worry about Joe's career working with legendary actors in another lead role in a big budget production.
