Tickets at AMC were sold at $28 per ticket, and the movie was ineligible for A-List reservations. Taylor Swift didn’t even do that, and she’s at the peak of her career and could have demanded it.

That undoubtedly turned off viewers who were on the fence about seeing the Beyoncé concert film. She out-priced her market.

I don’t usually listen to popular stuff like Beyoncé or Swift, but I did decide to stream Renaissance recently while working and I’ve got to say I was really surprised how vulgar she is. The first track seemed to consist of the word motherfucker repeated over and over, and most of the other tracks were full of profanity. Not being a prude here, but that’s not what I expected from a Beyoncé record knowing only her big hits. I thought she was meant to have a bit more class, but I guess she is trying to be another Cardi B. I would hesitate to buy her albums for my kids.

Beyonce is 40, she’s not for kids. She doesn’t make music for little girls (or women and gays who still think they are) like Taylor Swift.

Taylor has a lot of cursing in her songs. The more recent ones, at least. She literally has a song called "Vigilante Shit."

I’m glad she doesn’t figuratively have such a song.

It's because her fame is built off media hype. Her albums and singles haven't been successful for quite some time now. Sure, they do better than many artists, but not the kind of numbers to warrant her hype.

An artist whose 56 show global tour grossed $570 million does not need "hype." You queens who are so desperate to diminish her monumental stature in popular culture are just as deranged as her Beyhive.

She has so much money that I cannot fathom adding another dime to her already massive bank account. I won't be buying a ticket to this new event. If it ever ends up on free TV I might give it 5 minutes of my time just to see a few of her costumes. Anything more than that might be overkill. I not a fan, obviously, but I do enjoy a fun costume.

I loathe Taylor Swift and her brainwashed fanbase, but I am waiting earnestly for the numerous thinkpieces about how a yt womyn and her racist fanbase overshadowed and stole from the reigning Nubian goddess, Bey.

Remember the early days of the Renaissance tour threads, when the DL queens knowingly assured us that the stadiums were half empty, nobody was buying tickets, the tour was a failure etc. this reminds me of that.
