My father had that open mouth stance the last year of his life, which likely means his oxygen saturation level is borderline, not enough to require oxygen all the time, but lower than satisfactory.

How can a body live that long? I know he has to be on 37 elderdrugs to make that happen. In addition to all the care equivalent to a baby, what's the point? The quality of life is gone.
