A fun film my entire family has watched together the night before Thanksgiving for many years!

John Hughes' only script that didn't include a scene where suburban whites run across urban blacks with "hilarious" results. Instead it's a scummy redneck

great scene though!

I LOVE THIS MOVIE and I thought STEVE MARTIN was a STONE COLD FAUX! He was super handsome when younger. Just like Chevy Chase.

Candy's character's backstory is far too tragic for the tone of the film. The maudlin revelation ruins everything but Edie McClurg, who deserved an Oscar for her line that is sensored every free TV holiday airing.

Edie McClurg was perfect in that scene. Brilliant.

Gobble Gobble!

Edie McClurg actually improvised that whole conversation over the phone as the cameras were rolling.
