This is a very interesting, if depressing, article about the directors of The Day After, Testament and Threads. At least one of them thinks we’re just a few beats away from nuclear annihilation.

I loved Testament too. I cried when that kid died, I don't remember it well, I could only watch it once. Threads was better than the Day After but it sure scared the shit out of young me.
The cold war started a cottage industry of nuke songs that I'll always love.
Even Frankie got in on it.
