I had a scratchy throat Fri. and Sat., and today it's transmogrified into congestion and a sinus headache. This bites, because I had the same thing last month. Should go back to masking up when I'm around my fellow humans. Also, I'm not sleeping well.

PSA: If you live alone, please be sure to keep either some Propel packets or bottles, and canned soup or broth, and Tylenol AND ibuprofen on hand. A good heating pad and a thermometer are nice to have as is a mattress that isn’t shot to hell. And some nice chew bones to keep the dogs occupied while you’re convalescing.

I had the same thing happened to me. I had surgery and was given painkillers for post-op. That night I woke up in a pool of my own waste. I think the combination of medication and what happened to me caused everything in my colon to liquify and pour out of me. I was sleeping on a couch so it was soaked. Fortunately, I was able to just turn the cushions over after they had dried.

My ass woke up at 3 am. The wind gusts were blowing up so strong I thought my house was gonna take flight. Ugh. Got up, drank coffee, made a Patti LaBelle playlist and now back in bed.

Tylenol makes me constipated
