Taylor Swift Kills A Girl

Now she’s gone and done it.

by Anonymousreply 117November 24, 2023 5:42 PM

Look what you made her do!

by Anonymousreply 1November 18, 2023 12:34 PM

I don't know her..

by Anonymousreply 2November 18, 2023 12:35 PM

Taylor obviously had this girl killed to distract from Kelce's tweets.

by Anonymousreply 3November 18, 2023 12:40 PM

What a bitch

by Anonymousreply 4November 18, 2023 12:42 PM

I knew this would happen.

It’s all about the dolla.

Fuck the bottom line.

What’s one less balla.

by Anonymousreply 5November 18, 2023 12:52 PM

No problem as long as she first paid for her ticket and bought some of my crap.

by Anonymousreply 6November 18, 2023 1:00 PM

The handwritten note reeks of PR, not grief or concern. Not the contents, which come off pretty well, but I’m pretty sure Taylor Swift has a phone and that is how she normally communicates. Pen and paper is a weird affectation that is obviously an intentional PR move.

I understand the impulse, but maybe she could have just weathered a little unfair criticism in this case. Doing this would make me feel dirty.

by Anonymousreply 7November 18, 2023 1:00 PM

Her handwriting surprised me. I thought it would be more feminine looking, with big flourishes.

by Anonymousreply 8November 18, 2023 1:04 PM

I always feel sad when I hear stories like this. When people go to concerts, they're usually excited and looking forward to it all week, they don't expect to die.

by Anonymousreply 9November 18, 2023 1:26 PM

It appears to be a “handwriting” font, not her handwriting.

by Anonymousreply 10November 18, 2023 1:30 PM

Sounds like she did everything responsibly, even pausing the show due to make sure the audience was getting water. I'd ask if that girl was with a guardian who neglected to keep her hydrated.

by Anonymousreply 11November 18, 2023 1:30 PM

Good catch, R10. The letters are absolutely identical.

by Anonymousreply 12November 18, 2023 1:43 PM

The “girl” was 23, R11. Agree that it doesn’t sound like Swift is to blame but if she paused the show to make sure the audience was getting water and there was no procedure in place to distribute water to a crowd of thousands (I’m assuming), then that’s just play-acting. I’m not even suggesting there should have been a procedure in place. I have no opinion. I’m just getting a vibe from how this is being presented. It feels very orchestrated.

by Anonymousreply 13November 18, 2023 1:45 PM

Grim reaper, count contessa

by Anonymousreply 14November 18, 2023 1:46 PM

[quote] The handwritten note reeks of PR, not grief or concern

It appears to be a typeface. Look at the capital “I”s and the lowercase “y”s.

by Anonymousreply 15November 18, 2023 1:52 PM

Well, she was a Taylor Swift fan, so she was braindead anyway... Sorry, I know that I'm an evil cunt, but it had to be said. 😂😂😂

Still, I am shocked that the event organizers didn't have any safety protocols in place in order to deal with the possible consequences of a tropical heatwave, and the wooden void of charisma herself had to stop tormenting people's eardrums to ask for her deaf fans to receive some water and medical assistance.

As much as I hate this talentless potato and the horrible noise she calls "music", this isn't her fault at all.

by Anonymousreply 16November 18, 2023 2:01 PM

Now I see that it’s a font and it’s obviously not an attempt to pass of a font as handwriting, I just didn’t recognize it. So maybe I am being too hard on her.

- R7, R13

by Anonymousreply 17November 18, 2023 2:17 PM

This incident (no water leading to fan / concertgoer death) will get bigger because Swift is as huge as anyone has ever been at the present time, and the present time doesn’t last long.

by Anonymousreply 18November 18, 2023 2:21 PM

The white devil strikes again. Apparently having bad taste in music is actually dangerous.

by Anonymousreply 19November 18, 2023 2:24 PM

Look Who You Made Me Sue.

by Anonymousreply 20November 18, 2023 2:26 PM

Taylor eat her box out so bad, the fan died of rapture.

by Anonymousreply 21November 18, 2023 3:12 PM

No they should think happy thoughts before a concert but they should be aware that people do die at concerts in large enough numbers that it should not be a total surprise to anyone if it does happen.

by Anonymousreply 22November 18, 2023 3:25 PM

The title of this thread OP 😂

by Anonymousreply 23November 18, 2023 3:35 PM

Blame it on the Bossa Nova!

by Anonymousreply 24November 18, 2023 3:36 PM

Is her singing that bad?

by Anonymousreply 25November 18, 2023 3:47 PM

This girl is on fire!

by Anonymousreply 26November 18, 2023 3:57 PM

Could someone try and explain her appeal? She has cheesy ice drum majorette costumes and immature, schoolgirl songs. Why are grown women paying to see, and die for now, this shit?

by Anonymousreply 27November 18, 2023 4:03 PM

Hey, she's better than Katy Perry!

by Anonymousreply 28November 18, 2023 4:06 PM

The girl slays.

by Anonymousreply 29November 18, 2023 4:09 PM

60K tickets X 3 days = 240K tickets in Rio! The same in São Paulo!

by Anonymousreply 30November 18, 2023 4:09 PM

Oops, 180K!!!

by Anonymousreply 31November 18, 2023 4:10 PM

It was probably Molly.

by Anonymousreply 32November 18, 2023 4:15 PM

Molly Shannon?

by Anonymousreply 33November 18, 2023 4:17 PM

I hope she pays for the young woman's funeral.

by Anonymousreply 34November 18, 2023 4:38 PM

This would never happen at a Kim Carnes concert!

by Anonymousreply 35November 18, 2023 4:47 PM

You bastard!

by Anonymousreply 36November 18, 2023 4:48 PM

Beyoncé would never kill someone.

by Anonymousreply 37November 18, 2023 4:55 PM

She won't kill no more.

She IS Jesus, r39!

by Anonymousreply 40November 19, 2023 3:25 PM

As we barely learn the news that Taylor Swift just killed a fan with her bare hands in cold blood, it now appears that the Swift crime family had at least one phone call with the Biden crime family back in 2018. The honorable James Comer will be with us to talk about those very damning developments right after this.

by Anonymousreply 41November 19, 2023 3:35 PM

R13 the way taylors post was written made me think it was like a 9 year old

by Anonymousreply 42November 19, 2023 3:38 PM

Now Beyonce is going to have to kill 2 girls to top her! On and on it goes....

by Anonymousreply 43November 19, 2023 3:47 PM

Hold my Oxycontin!

by Anonymousreply 44November 19, 2023 3:48 PM

This is what was on her friendship bracelets when they finally helped her. ÁGUA.

by Anonymousreply 45November 19, 2023 3:52 PM

She will kill again.

by Anonymousreply 46November 19, 2023 4:00 PM

She killed Matthew Perry, and RAPED ME!

by Anonymousreply 47November 19, 2023 4:03 PM

No drinks were allowed in the stadium including water. Whoever made that rule is the most responsible.

I am sure Taylor will do whatever she can for that family. She is a smart business woman but also cares about her fans.

by Anonymousreply 48November 19, 2023 4:12 PM

She should bring the fan back to life! You know she can do it.

by Anonymousreply 49November 19, 2023 4:14 PM

Was the water brackish?

by Anonymousreply 50November 19, 2023 4:27 PM

Why on earth did they ban water bottles stadium during a tropical heatwave? I wonder if it's a holdover rule from the soccer matches normally played there. Water bottles can become missiles to throw on the pitch. A coach in Spain's Liga was knocked out cold by a water bottle thrown from the stands. But this is a flipping Taylor Swift concert attended by young women and teens, not soccer hooligans. 🙄

by Anonymousreply 51November 19, 2023 5:02 PM

She might get a few fans fired, too, because she canceled last night's concert one hour before it was supposed to start and rescheduled it to Monday, but a lot of the fans came from other states and even other South American countries and were supposed to return home today (Sunday) because of work and/or school.

by Anonymousreply 52November 19, 2023 5:04 PM

This article (in Portuguese) says the concert organizers were handing out room temperature water.

by Anonymousreply 53November 19, 2023 5:09 PM

The restricting of bringing any drinks and water into shows is so clearly a safety issue. In the US anyway one is forced to pay the kings ransom to concessionaires if one needs liquids. Squeezing the fans for very last penny is hardly unique to Brazil. What do you expect to happen on a sweltering day at a mass concert. They need to make water mandatorily available at these things. A death or two should not be acceptable but that is where we are at in the world now. I hope she uses her celebrity power to change this but celebrities have always been tools.

by Anonymousreply 54November 19, 2023 5:17 PM

Can’t wait for this girl to finally get cancelled

by Anonymousreply 55November 19, 2023 7:30 PM

The sale of water was prohibited but there were taco stands as far as the eye could see.

by Anonymousreply 56November 19, 2023 7:35 PM

The thing about not bringing water into the stadium is the fault of the owners of the venue and the concessionaires. Clearly the concessionaires want the exclusive right to sell drinks (at inflated prices) and they were probably shivering in anticipation of hefty sales due to the record heat wave in Rio.

by Anonymousreply 57November 19, 2023 7:46 PM

Tacos are not a thing in Brazil, r56.

by Anonymousreply 58November 19, 2023 7:54 PM

Fine, burritos, corn cob, whatever R58.

by Anonymousreply 59November 19, 2023 10:26 PM

Pastéis, coxinhas, espetinhos, r59.

by Anonymousreply 60November 19, 2023 10:29 PM

by Anonymousreply 61November 19, 2023 10:32 PM

Katy, you married that thing, shut your filthy mouth.

by Anonymousreply 62November 19, 2023 10:34 PM

They don't allow outside food/beverages to be brought in for safety reasons. There is plenty of water to be purchased there. This is crazy.

by Anonymousreply 63November 19, 2023 10:37 PM

Her left leaning writing is telling. I use to analyze handwriting. And I do believe it’s her. Left leaning= introspection, narcissism and repression. Not surprising.

by Anonymousreply 64November 19, 2023 10:37 PM

R19 I hate Taylor Swift and have no reason to defend her, but let’s not forget this little incident courtesy of your ghetto kang

from /r/fauxmoi

"The family of the fan who passed out during Taylor’s concert is having financial difficulties to bring Ana’s body home (she isn’t from Rio) and that no one on Taylor’s team contacted them.

I know it wasn’t her fault to what happened but as a fan of hers I’m very disappointed the way she and her PR team are distancing themselves from the situation. Not a word to Ana’s family. Not any help. She’s literally a billionaire. Also, in the note she posted on her stories she said Ana passed BEFORE the concert, which is a LIE: Ana fainted during Cruel Summer. She is eximing herself from any responsibility. Previously we thought she was doing things for Ana’s family behind the scenes as she said she wouldnt talk about this on stage, but to know now the show simply went on and that’s it, it’s unbelievable coldness."

I don't like her, but now I respect her.

by Anonymousreply 73November 20, 2023 8:55 PM

by Anonymousreply 74November 20, 2023 9:19 PM

She has killed many

by Anonymousreply 75November 20, 2023 9:36 PM

She certainly has, R75. She killed my career.

by Anonymousreply 76November 21, 2023 5:21 AM

And the worst part is her music still sucks

by Anonymousreply 77November 21, 2023 5:43 AM

She has the handwriting of a 12 year old.

by Anonymousreply 78November 21, 2023 5:49 AM

R57 Would water have saved her? Did she die of dehydration?

by Anonymousreply 79November 21, 2023 5:57 AM

If it's 100 degrees in a venue the show should be shut down.

by Anonymousreply 80November 21, 2023 6:03 AM

Why are people going on about her handwriting when it's already been established upthread that it's a cursive FONT..

[QUOTE]There is plenty of water to be purchased there.

Excellent. That way people can pass out waiting in line. It will make it easier for EMS personnel to retrieve them if they're concentrated in one spot.

by Anonymousreply 81November 21, 2023 10:21 AM

100 degrees should not be a problem for a non really active young healthy person who has no other drugs in their system and who is well hydrated.

Hydrate Hydrate Hydrate and IMO wear a sun hat and don’t run a 10k and you should be fine at an outdoor concert. Let’s face it 100 degrees+ is going to be more and more the new normal. Toughen up and get ready.

You could not pay me to go but the rest of you should be fine.

by Anonymousreply 82November 21, 2023 11:50 AM

So she couldn't take the time to personally write a message about a dead girl? So caring.

by Anonymousreply 83November 21, 2023 7:09 PM

She'll write a song, r83!

by Anonymousreply 84November 21, 2023 7:14 PM

I was thinking that there is more to this story than just dehydration, this is a young woman in her prime who is familiar with the weather and conditions.

It’s sad that she passed away but this is not TS fault. I would be more inclined to believe she died from listening to boring music.

by Anonymousreply 85November 21, 2023 7:15 PM

She killed again!

by Anonymousreply 86November 21, 2023 7:16 PM

by Anonymousreply 87November 21, 2023 7:42 PM

You know she's killing these people for publicity.

by Anonymousreply 88November 21, 2023 7:48 PM

RIP Gabriel papi!

Fuck Taylor!

End it.

by Anonymousreply 89November 21, 2023 9:54 PM

R82 Your advice is a little late.

by Anonymousreply 90November 22, 2023 2:53 AM

[quote]100 degrees should not be a problem for a non really active young healthy person who has no other drugs in their system and who is well hydrated.

What is a "non really active heathy person" who has "no other drugs in their system"?

by Anonymousreply 91November 22, 2023 2:56 AM

I was young and healthy and took a 3 mile run with the temp over 100 degrees. Don’t make the run. I would have been ok just sitting or standing but running almost killed me.

And of course don’t do PnP or Molly in 100 degree heat then go for a 3 mile run while waiting for the concert to start,.

Hope this clarifies and is helpful for surviving your next concert in 100 degree temps.

by Anonymousreply 92November 22, 2023 9:24 AM

I’m gonna throw chankla at you puta ^

by Anonymousreply 93November 22, 2023 11:14 AM

R86 Swift is killing genderfluid queer POC? Uh oh. Imprestável.

by Anonymousreply 94November 22, 2023 11:15 AM

My Brazilian hubby is telling me that in Brazil rumor has it that the girl and her friends were all hopped up on drugs.

by Anonymousreply 95November 22, 2023 12:22 PM

Then they deserved to die. :/

by Anonymousreply 96November 22, 2023 12:33 PM

All of them!!

by Anonymousreply 97November 22, 2023 12:34 PM

These concerts are too big. The whole Taylor Swift phenomenon is crazy. And you no longer have sensible parents who would have probably forbidden their kids to go to these things in a previous era. Many of the people at them are too young and incapable of being unsupervised. Then you add 100 degree temps. God forbid Taylor didn't perform and had to refund the money.

by Anonymousreply 98November 22, 2023 12:36 PM

Again totally perplexed how this homely, non dynamic, pedestrian songstress has such appeal. I could maybe understand Beyonce - though I hate her music - in that Bey is glamorous and sexy, but Taylor breaking records is weird.

by Anonymousreply 99November 22, 2023 12:42 PM

I don't understand the fanaticism for Taylor, Bieber, or these other huge acts that have almost no singing talent and are mediocre performers.

by Anonymousreply 100November 22, 2023 12:49 PM

R99 I don't agree that she's homely.

by Anonymousreply 101November 22, 2023 12:50 PM

Yes it’s crazy we never had large concerts like this when I was young. It must be a Taylor Swift thing.

by Anonymousreply 102November 22, 2023 1:16 PM

It's not as bad as it could be. At least those cult friendly Swifties haven't converted to Islam and joined the Jihadists.

by Anonymousreply 103November 22, 2023 1:21 PM

Taylor isn’t homely but she is not interesting looking. Hasn’t she been accused of using JLo Tune…I mean autotune?

by Anonymousreply 104November 22, 2023 1:57 PM

R95 This would help explain how a healthy young woman could just die from dehydration from waiting in line.

by Anonymousreply 105November 22, 2023 1:59 PM

[quote]My Brazilian hubby is telling me that in Brazil rumor has it that the girl and her friends were all hopped up on drugs.

I'm in Brazil and I heard nothing about his, other than a few people on Twitter (X) speculating that MAYBE she was on drugs. We'll find out soon, since the police ordered toxicology tests.

by Anonymousreply 106November 22, 2023 2:00 PM

Nothing about this*

by Anonymousreply 107November 22, 2023 2:01 PM

r105, she was in line for almost 12 hours, it was 100F.

by Anonymousreply 108November 22, 2023 2:04 PM

The whole thing is just sad, the young woman was about to graduate in psychology.

by Anonymousreply 109November 22, 2023 2:08 PM

R102 I must have missed the part where pre-teen and young teen girls went to Woodstock.

by Anonymousreply 110November 22, 2023 3:21 PM

R110 And as a follow up... Woodstock was a music festival, the average age of the festival-goers was 22, and it wasn't like an artist being on tour and having huge concerts in every city.

by Anonymousreply 111November 22, 2023 3:23 PM

Also at Woodstock they could jump nude into the muddy ponds and streams. And it rained. That Rio stadium looks very shabby, though it is less than 20 years old and used in the Olympics. Perhaps a cheaply constructed place?

Offsite Link
by Anonymousreply 112November 22, 2023 5:39 PM

R112 Perhaps, but what does the construction of the stadium have to do with what happened to that fan?

by Anonymousreply 113November 23, 2023 3:22 PM

22 years old average at Woodstock.

Almost as old as the girl (23) who died at the Swift concert.

Which means the girl who just died was hardly a pre teen. She was in fact a grown adult.

by Anonymousreply 114November 23, 2023 3:36 PM

R113 the current condition of the locale also speaks to the low attention paid to audience safety during a heatwave. Including the option of postponing or cancelling. Apparently there was not enough attention paid to the FACT that some audience would experience heat exhaustion. There wasn't enough water and it wasn't free, for one.

by Anonymousreply 115November 23, 2023 3:51 PM

R115 The post said that it “looks shabby” and is “perhaps” a poorly constructed place. But this is merely speculation.

by Anonymousreply 116November 24, 2023 1:47 PM

Someone should see if Kayla Nicole is involved in this…🥴
