Nikki Haley Opens with 10 Point Lead on Biden for President
Are these people serious? I’m expecting Trump to have a meltdown any minute now.
[quote]NEW POLL: President Biden trails GOP presidential candidate Nikki Haley by 10 points in 2024 matchup.
[quote]The poll found Haley with 55 percent to Biden’s 45 percent, a notably more significant margin than that of former President Trump.

Yeah, this is one of those bullshit polls. Not that I think they are actually lying about numbers or anything. But a lot of the respondents are doing the dumb bitch thing: I have no idea what Nikki Haley is really like or what she stands for so I'll create this fantasy in my mind and decide she's what I want in a president. I don't take polls seriously before there is an actual campaign between two actual people with actual positions and personas.

She is all over the place. She just told Sean Hannity that if she were governor she would signed a 6 week abortion ban. Then she said that she would pull us out of the UN and out of the Paris Climate Treaty. This in in contract to her more centrist act. I can’t believe she actually thinks this will help her win an election. Maybe win the primaries, I don’t know but she’s giving Democrats a lot of sound bites and footage to run of her next year.

Absolutely no one should be discounted against Biden, especially since the "liberal media" is doing absolutely nothing to help him and bring to the public the accomplishments of his administration; they are all-Trump all the time. Nowhere from the Biden people is there anything about why people should vote FOR him, just why Trump is bad. Unless the Dems put forth a case for him, Trump has a great chance of winning.

I will never understand why this country is so determined to serve Donald Trump when he's done absolutely NOTHING for the country. I just don't get this reversal. There are people willing to put him back in the WH just so he can have "his" DOJ put a stop to the federal cases against and do lord knows what to the state prosecutors. So he can pardon and release all of these J6 thugs who have been found guilty and sentenced. I do not get it.
People must really hate this country. It used to be a Presidential candidate actually made campaign promises related to improving people's lives but all we've heard from Trump is vengeance and how he's going to ruin this country for decades to come and ruin our standing in the world by ceding to Putin. I don't understand the support for him other than he's a cult leader.
And Americans are really fucking themselves over. It took Germany really 5 decades, at least, to truly change the perception of themselves in the world. This authoritarian thing is a proven short term, DEAD END. And yet these fucking stupid Trump supporters are willing to plunge us into decades of stasis and decay where nothing will progress forward positively in any manner. Unbelievable.

You see The Hill as a Right learning blog and thus discount a poll done by someone else.
But when organizations do a poll about The Hill almost all results shows it as a left leaning blog although your opinions might outweigh actual polls.
So a woman who can’t possibly get the GOP nod , unless don drops out, is way ahead of Biden but the guy who is going to get the gop nod, Donald trump, is only slightly ahead of Biden. That is called good dem news today.
Trump-Haley (which I do not think she would accept) would crush Biden-Harris it seems if the election were held today.
This law school had been doing surveys for years. They generally get a very good score for accuracy from 538.
If it’s Trump-Haley vs Biden-Harris it may be that the only thing that could stop trump is Romney+ someone running as a 3rdParty ticket.
Will progressives go from head in sand one November to jumping out of tall windows the next November?
Stay tuned to find out.

I cannot stand it when people do not know when to exit with dignity. Women no longer have the constitutional right to their own bodies because Ruth Bader Ginsberg fucked everyone over. Never again. If Haley drops out most of her support goes to desantis. If desantis drops out most of his support goes to Trump.
But if Haley-Desantis could come together and they have some favorable wind at their back it’s not totally impossible they might sneak by Donald.

Joe won’t get any younger but it’s not a stretch to see desantis hook up with Haley in an attempt to knock off trump. At that point they would get virtually every non MAGA total trump supporter to flock to them
That’s a ticket that could win maybe would win in the general election. it’s exactly what so many in the gop say they want. And that ticket should satisfy all those calling for the old people to die off.
