College students paid $250 to rally for Israel

Guess they’re having trouble finding volunteers?

This fits with why the head of ADL was heard on taped phone call saying that the divide between those being pro-Israel vs. pro-Palestine is now a young vs. old divide and they have to do something to win young people over to their cause. Paying $250 to a college student to attend the Washington pro-Israel demo is part of their effort to fight this.

"Truth_teller" with a Russian flag emoji ... seems reliable.

"The 'Israel on Campus Coalition' paying for this is funded by 'pro-Israel' billionaires such as Bernie Marcus, founder of Home Depot, and Jan Koum, founder of WhatsApp,".

A quick look a the account OP is tweeting shows the last 6 images shared.

There's a meme that says it's Jewish tradition to spit on Christian and a meme that says Jews were responsible for 9/11 complete with pictures of people with the star of David on their foreheads.

So is the OP a Nazi or just a neo Nazi?

^ since dumbasses like r4 and r2 would rather attack the OP / Twitter account instead of the (actually factually verifiable) issue, here is a news article on it.

THE DAILY DOT?

OH MY DAYS

The same DAILY DOT who published an article about how the hostage posters were "a trap" by "baiting pro-Palestinians into getting canceled".

Just fuck off with your racist bullshit.

The website at r6 says its a travel grant. So presumably its a way to get people who don't live in D.C a way to be able to afford to go to the protest. I don't really see much difference in it from unions or BLM arranging bussing and transport in for people to attend protests from far away from where they live. Mostly just shows how much money the Israel lobby has to throw around but everyone already knew about that

by Anonymousreply 8November 18, 2023 6:14 PM

Retard at r7, please see link from the org itself at r6.

by Anonymousreply 9November 18, 2023 6:18 PM

R8, It says travel expenses, in addition to the “grant” itself to attend, are potentially reimbursable.

Arranging busing etc and reimbursing travel is one thing, but I have never heard of BLM paying “grants” to people for the express purpose of attending their protests.

by Anonymousreply 10November 18, 2023 6:21 PM

[quote] The microgrant offered by the ICC was for reimbursement for up to $250 for expenses to get to the March For Israel rally in D.C.

Well your other link says this so no the grant is apparently solely for travel expenses and $250 was apparently the max offered and BLM was too busy buying sexond houses for its leaders to think beyond renting a coach.

Hey, better second homes than American tax dollars for Israeli bombs. 🤷🏽‍♂️

by Anonymousreply 12November 18, 2023 6:35 PM

Great article r1. Makes complete sense - and explains the rabid, knee-jerk defense of Israel we’re bombarded with on here (which obviously skews toward the FOX news age demographic - I.e., ~100 years old +).

by Anonymousreply 13November 18, 2023 6:41 PM

r12 if you like. But one is BLM committing fraud with its donations, the other is a pro Israel charity using donations to refund transport which is what its meant to. How the US government pisses away its money is a separate issue.

by Anonymousreply 14November 18, 2023 6:44 PM

BLM committing fraud is some fuckery. But it’s ultimately with private dolllars. We have no say in our tax dollars being used to bomb and flatten Gaza.

by Anonymousreply 15November 18, 2023 10:50 PM

“Well well well, see I told you all about paid protestors and you didn’t want to believe me!”

by Anonymousreply 16November 18, 2023 11:15 PM

Shocking.

by Anonymousreply 17November 19, 2023 8:39 PM

That’s like 500 packages of ramen, bruh.

by Anonymousreply 18November 19, 2023 8:40 PM

Well, if it’s being reported by The Daily Dot, it must be true.

by Anonymousreply 19November 19, 2023 8:53 PM

[quote] We have no say in our tax dollars being used to bomb and flatten Gaza.

I’m hearing plenty of “say.”

by Anonymousreply 20November 19, 2023 8:54 PM

r15 That's nice. Write to your representative and complain. But before you move your goalposts too far. Your OP was about a private Jewish charity spending its own money. That has nothing to do with your tax money. Or do you think the Israel on Campus Coalition is tax payer funded as well?

by Anonymousreply 21November 19, 2023 9:31 PM

Israel’s War on American Student Activists

For years the Israel on Campus Coalition—a little-known organization with links to Israeli intelligence—has used student informants to spy on pro-Palestinian campus groups.
