Is something in the Adrenalin levels of athletes that make them commit these crimes?

Will they develop some type of neck guard ?

by Anonymousreply 3November 14, 2023 11:45 PM

They already have.

by Anonymousreply 4November 14, 2023 11:50 PM

After the fatal incident, Johnson's teammate Westin Michaud took to social media to defend Petgrave.

"We wholeheartedly stand with Matt Petgrave. The hate that Matt is receiving is terrible and completely uncalled for. I was at ice level on the bench closest to the accident, I saw both players moving fast," Michaud wrote on X. "It's clear to me his actions were unintentional and anyone suggesting otherwise is mistaken."

by Anonymousreply 5November 14, 2023 11:51 PM

Took them long enough to charge him. I don’t see how anyone who watches that video can think he’s not guilty of at least manslaughter. They basically have knives on their feet. Any move where you raise your leg at neck/head height of another player could obviously kill them.

by Anonymousreply 6November 15, 2023 12:02 AM

Looks pretty intentional to me!

by Anonymousreply 7November 15, 2023 12:17 AM

I would lick this niggas bootyhole all night long.

by Anonymousreply 8November 15, 2023 12:18 AM

Just looking at the video you can see it was intentional.

by Anonymousreply 9November 15, 2023 12:37 AM

Give him life, the prick

by Anonymousreply 10November 15, 2023 12:39 AM

Apostrophe.

by Anonymousreply 11November 15, 2023 12:40 AM

Muriel, banish TeaFuck for good

by Anonymousreply 12November 15, 2023 12:42 AM

r8 you can after we throw your drunk ass in jail with him!

by Anonymousreply 13November 15, 2023 12:42 AM

Omg I actually hate Teacake so much. It is a meth-addled, depraved, cock-addicted, uneducated, disgustiNg bitch!!!!!!

by Anonymousreply 14November 15, 2023 12:43 AM

You know Teacake stinks like hydro bud, Black & Milds, onions & mustard BO, cocoa butter, coffee ass breath, and 25 squirts of some Sean John cologne.

by Anonymousreply 15November 15, 2023 12:50 AM

Yes! One less please

by Anonymousreply 16November 15, 2023 12:52 AM

Fewer!

by Anonymousreply 17November 15, 2023 12:54 AM

Is 'Teacake' David Ehrenstein's new handle?

by Anonymousreply 18November 15, 2023 12:56 AM

Anyone who thinks that was intentional doesn't know much about hockey.

by Anonymousreply 19November 17, 2023 7:40 PM

He was known for dirty moves and led the league in penalty points but please instruct us on how he didn't intentionally karate kick another player in the neck with a blade r19.

by Anonymousreply 20November 17, 2023 7:49 PM

R14, you get a FF for that capital N. Totally uncalled for.

by Anonymousreply 21November 17, 2023 7:56 PM

In hockey, you're allowed to punch and fight each other. If he had a problem with the guy, he could have fought him.

Marty McSorley almost got jailed for hitting a guy in the back of the head with a stick. If you want to fuck someone up, you can. There's no need for murder.

by Anonymousreply 22November 17, 2023 7:57 PM

Btw Matt Petgrave has NOT been charged with manslaughter as the original post and linked article claims.

He was arrested and questioned by the police and released as is normal, and as of yet has not been charged with any criminal offence.

by Anonymousreply 23November 17, 2023 8:14 PM

I read that Petgrave has made that same move before, and had been sanctioned for it. Practice makes perfect, eh?

by Anonymousreply 24November 17, 2023 8:40 PM

Should've stuck to basketball. Boy.

by Anonymousreply 25November 17, 2023 8:44 PM

STFU R21

by Anonymousreply 26November 17, 2023 11:52 PM

He really does lift his leg up and hits that guy with his skate. It looks intentional to me when the video is on slo-mo but at normal speed it happens so fast it seems hard to believe it could be done intentionally. Regardless, what a tragedy. Just awful.

by Anonymousreply 27November 18, 2023 12:37 AM

A man who has 21 years of NHL experience also believes it was intentional!

Teacake is P. Diddy

by Anonymousreply 29November 18, 2023 9:00 PM

Puff Daddy

by Anonymousreply 30November 18, 2023 9:45 PM

R28, that's probably because Petgrave is Black. Roenick is a loony Trumper.

by Anonymousreply 31November 18, 2023 10:03 PM

If you look at zoomed in video even played at normal speed it looks intentional. He even shifts his weight so he can balance himself as he lifts his leg. Of course he did not intend to kill someone, but that is beyond dirty for the sport and it cost someone their life.

We have those now?

by Anonymousreply 33November 18, 2023 10:56 PM

R33 = Mamie Eisenhower

by Anonymousreply 34November 18, 2023 11:00 PM

It's very questionable whether it was or wasn't intentional. Even if it was "intentional" it's also not clear whether it's a common tactic in hockey that had very unfortunate repercussions.

For example, in many sports a lot of "illegal" or penalty activities occur during a game. However, they're very commonly done. The fact that this might have resulted in a death is terrible, but would not be surprising.

by Anonymousreply 35November 18, 2023 11:10 PM

[quote]it's also not clear whether it's a common tactic in hockey that had very unfortunate repercussions.

If you are a hockey fan you would know that it’s not a common tactic at all. Even if you’re not a hockey fan, common sense would tell you that it’s not because it’s too dangerous.

by Anonymousreply 36November 19, 2023 1:47 AM

by Anonymousreply 38November 26, 2023 2:11 AM

One of Teatwat’s meth-induced musings obvs

by Anonymousreply 39November 26, 2023 2:25 AM

Damn, they are/were both beautiful men.

by Anonymousreply 40November 26, 2023 2:28 AM

PETGRAVE HAS NOT BEEN CHARGED WITH MANSLAUGHTER.

The linked source is crappy writing. And many DLers can't read.

by Anonymousreply 41November 26, 2023 2:32 AM

R38, it means that when a black man commits a violent crime, any attempt to prosecute him is white supremacy and institutionalized racism, and the criminal is the ultimate tragic victim, boo-hoo.

by Anonymousreply 42November 26, 2023 3:52 PM

R42 He committed a violent crime???

by Anonymousreply 43November 26, 2023 4:49 PM

You are so uneducated and gross

by Anonymousreply 44November 26, 2023 4:52 PM

Black people play hockey? I thought it was all drunk Russians.
