by Anonymousreply 154November 24, 2023 10:18 PM

There's a reason they're called ReThuglicans!

by Anonymousreply 1November 14, 2023 7:25 PM

He just won his next election for sure

by Anonymousreply 2November 14, 2023 7:29 PM

There's a great photo circulating on Twitter of Mullin hiding, cowering on his knees behind chairs during the insurrection. An insurrection he helped agitate.

by Anonymousreply 3November 14, 2023 7:31 PM

What is going on in Congress today?

by Anonymousreply 4November 14, 2023 7:35 PM

Why does he think he can hear better than a teamster?

by Anonymousreply 5November 14, 2023 7:36 PM

Looks like he has a good body though.

by Anonymousreply 6November 14, 2023 7:38 PM

There's no need for introductions, Markwayne, we know who you are. You're the guy who's always wherever women gather or try to be alone. You want to eat with us when we're dining in hotels. You want to know if the book we're reading is any good, or if you can keep us company on the plane. I want to thank you, Markwayne, on behalf of all the women in the world for your unfailing attention and concern. But read my lips and remember, as hard as it is to believe, sometimes we like talking just to each other, and sometimes we like just being alone

by Anonymousreply 7November 14, 2023 7:40 PM

I'd put my money on the Teamster; they do not play, never did!

What is it with these former wrestlers/mixed-art MAGAats on the Hill-- Gympanzee Jordan and now this Mullin guy?

Our tax dollars at work.

by Anonymousreply 8November 14, 2023 7:41 PM

And in other news, Kevin McCarthy has assaulted Congressman Burchett-R of Tennessee. An elbow to the back.

Markwayne Mullin used to do high-powered workouts at the Capitol gym with Aaron Schock and Tulsi Gabbard. He's a macho blowhard but he's definitely in good shape.

by Anonymousreply 11November 14, 2023 7:55 PM

R11 you mean Cruella de Vil and the guy who loves to be fist fucked?

I didn't know he existed until this thread.

by Anonymousreply 18November 14, 2023 8:08 PM

The problem is that the DC Republicans are all a bunch of soft-handed Ivy League Pansies.

So in order to pander to their terrifying base, they pull these embarrassing macho stunts in order to make them seem like a badass.

I mean - his name is motherfucking MARKWAYNE.

by Anonymousreply 23November 14, 2023 8:12 PM

R23 Look at his net worth before Congress and during Congress.

by Anonymousreply 29November 14, 2023 8:26 PM

Mullin claims Native-American (Cherokee) ethnicity.

by Anonymousreply 30November 14, 2023 8:30 PM

Lots of Oklahomans are mixed. There was a lot of intermarriage. It's why the mockery of Elizabeth Warren was so fucking stupid. The only one who stood up for her was Tom Cole, who is also part Native.

by Anonymousreply 31November 14, 2023 8:41 PM

I bet he nuts big

by Anonymousreply 32November 14, 2023 10:20 PM

R19, I guarantee you that Markwayne was nowhere near an Ivy League school. He did one year at Missouri Valley College. then quit. He has an associates degree. As a matter of fact, he is the only member of the senate without at least a bachelors degree. He built up several business ventures and will probably be richer than trump when he loses all his properties in court.

He also is fluent in mixed martial arts, thus leading him to threaten the union leader. As someone above said, he might beat the shit out of the union guy, but he’ll later be bunking with Jimmy Hoffa.

by Anonymousreply 39November 15, 2023 1:19 AM

He claims to be Cherokee. He’s “an enrolled citizen of the Cherokee nation” but he doesn’t give any family history, which is odd. Usually people with Native American ancestry say, “My grandma was Cherokee” or “Bith my parents have native ancestry.” But he is closed mouth about who in his family is Cherokee. So …was he adopted, like Beverly Santamaria?

He never lived on a reservation. It seems very mysterious.

[quote] News of the Burchett-McCarthy dust-up brought an interesting connection to light. When asked if he’d seen what happened between Burchett and McCarthy, Mullin told The Hill that he wouldn’t take the Tennessee congressman’s word for what happened and noted that he had kicked Burchett out of his long-established daily workout group last week.

[quote] Mullin, a longtime McCarthy ally, pointed to a “lack of character on his part” and said that he doesn’t “trust” Burchett. He noted that he’s had lawmakers of different stripes take part in the workouts, even at contentious times, including Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (I-Ariz.) and former Sen. Martha McSally (R-Ariz.) when they ran against each other in 2018, Rep. Jason Crow (D-Colo.) when he was a manager for former President Trump’s first impeachment trial, and Rep. During the pissing contest between Mullins and O'Brien, the guy who came out as the adult and serious-minded public servant was Bernie Sanders. He was like the father or coach breaking up the fight between the two kids on the team.

Putting his politics aside for a moment, Mullins proved that he had a backbone during the January Sixth insurrection and storming of the Capitol. He helped the Capitol Police barricade the doors to the House of Representatives. That picture does not show a man cowering behind the benches. It shows a man seeking defense and protection from a violent mob. Mullins also witnessed the shooting death of one of the rioters, and he backed up the story of the LEO who shot her...testifying that the LEO had no other choice and acted in defense.

He might be a chest thumping senator with whose policies I disagree, but I tip my hat to him for acting with courage on January 6th, very much unlike Josh "Sissy that Walk" Hawley.

by Anonymousreply 77November 15, 2023 8:24 PM

Stop deflecting, r61. Markwayne is a short guy with a short fuse and a rather obvious inferiority complex. He got cockblocked by Bernie Sanders of all people! “Sit down or you’re going in the time out cornah.” Too bad the Union guy didn’t stand up. It was the hostage crisis as much as anything, and the irony was that beginning with the air traffic controllers, Reagan was on a mission to break the unions. BTW:Anyone who thinks the Republicans are for less regulation needs to understand they aren't talking about us. Smaller government less regulation is not about us. It's about the corporate dons. Lower taxes? No. We pay more. The multimillionaires, billionaires pay little to nothing. And trickledown is a myth.Rich people don't spend money. [quote]Among white blue-collar voters.

So true. Reagan in his “The nine most terrifying words in the English language are ‘I’m from the government and I’m here to help.’”, sowed the seeds for voters not to expect shit from the government and if the government offered help it was TERRIFYING. It was a Capitalist/Plantation manifesto. Reagan then went about killing unions, killing union pensions, killing benefits to poor people (How can you trust a Government that give benefits to WELFARE QUEENS!?!?)

Reagan single-handedly created White Blue-Collar Voters who vote against their own interests or as Dave Chappell calls them, White Niggers:

Ohio is a White-Nigger state. Nixon opened China to trade. Nixon started the legislation to create 401(k)s. Reagan sent American manufacturing to China, killed the Steel Industry, created the Rust Belt from Chicago to West Virginia, killed Union Pensions in bankruptcy, and rippled their distrust of government to include Democrats.

Biden needs to come out and state, "I’m from the government and here, I've helped you."

NO, I would not do that. I get your point but those counter quotes never work in the real world because MAGA does not get those kind of plays on history. It would fail just like "Bidenomics".

For the record, Biden didn't want to do that, but his team pushed it and went along with it, just like he predicted, was a bad idea.

by Anonymousreply 127November 18, 2023 1:13 AM

Bidenomica will not be a success until next year, when Biden is actually running against Trump. Until then, the entire Republican Party can rise up over stupid shit. The House needs to be diverted by running for their seats before Biden pulls out the big guns. Patience.

Not a bad idea, but brilliance. He has claimed the economy and branded it. But there is time for the Republicans to fuck up the economy and blame Bidenomics. Biden has been a Senator through 16 presidential campaigns. He won three of them, I trust his judgement.

I'm so over these tough talking toxic masculinity dudes in their jacked up pickups. When you observe them interacting with their women, they're totally dominated by their girlfriends, wives, and mothers. All of their "toughness" is just cover for their crying baby incel natures. They LOVE to be dominated and be giant pussybois for their laydees but they are too ashamed to admit that's their kink. (See also Alex Jones and every guy on FUXX NEWWZ/right wing media).

It's also a problem with Hispanic men, which is why this tough talking BS from the Republicans appeals to them (except most Republicans only see Hispanics as the maid or gardner).

[quote] Biden has been a Senator through 16 presidential campaigns. He won three of them, I trust his judgement.

Then you should trust his judgment when BIDEN himself said Bidenomics as a slogan is not idea. What part of that did you not get? Glad you are not his advisor.

[quote]Not a bad idea, but brilliance.

No not brilliance, and wasn't his idea. Lets be real. A year from now even if everything goes great for Biden and the Democrats, even if the economy is still stable, it wont be massively better in the daily lives of people shopping for food, paying rent and bitching about the price of gas. That's all most people care about. The real numbers don't matter to the average American especially MAGA and election deniers. Ma, gas has done gone up again, vote'in for Trump to make it better again.

Unless the price of food and gas drops by 50% in the next year, you will not find a single person singing the praises of Bidenomic except for talking heads on TV. Average Joe voter will still say the economy sucks.

R131, yes, and the drooling imbecile gop will do so much better? What is your point? That people will vote for a Nazi felon because eggs went up by .30? Get real.

Yes they will. Have you ever stepped outside your bubble to talk to them? Unfortunately I have relatives and co-workers I HAVE to deal with some of which are a all in on Trump. That is literally how they think. You can explain to them all you want about how much Biden has done, how much better the economy is and all they will do is come back with, "well all I know is gas was a lot cheaper under Trump."

That's almost 50% of America.

Get real, that's what we are dealing with.

If MarkyCletus and McCarthy want to engage in fisticuffs so badly, they need to quit politics and take it to the boxing ring. This type of bullshit gets zero done for the American people.

The GOP are all simpleton trash.

So MWM has to include what kind of truck he has? And of course, it uses diesel.

I just looked it up. A 2024 model has an RSV of $78,000.

Of course.

That's the icing on the cake. Poor little MarkyCletus is a midget, tantrum throwing, rich boy.

His daddy should have bought him a few extra inches in height so MarkyCletus wouldn't have ended up a try hard douchebag.

Oh, my. The Ford people must have been laughing when they came up with this model name. Of course they knew it would appeal to small-dicked, ape-like creatures.
