Just seeing the preview in 'coming attractions' was more than enough. Crude, lurid, over-acted, pointless. 'The Guardian' review confirms my impression. What a waste of talent.

R17 I haven't seen it yet but it seems rather obvious who the guilty party is right off the bat.

She is not an attractive woman.

I saw it and enjoyed it. Very good cast obviously having a ball. The actual story is much darker, btw.

You don't even need to see the film to learn that it's the recipient of the letters who is also the sender.

Wikipedia saves a lot of wasted time at the cinema.

I just cannot warm to Colman. She is like a retarded half human half Labrador. I put Jamie Oliver in the same camp. They have doughy, Down Syndrome looking faces, annoying over eager voices, and an air of hyperactivity that makes me feel anxious.

Colman insists upon us liking her. Not in a Sally Field way, but as some bird who pretends she doesn't take herself seriously and you can have a bawdy time with.

She's determined to be a 'national treasure'.

Don't understand the hate for her here. She doesn't really register yay or nay that much on my radar.

Love Colman. Love Buckley. Just watch Fleabag if you think you do not like Colman.
