Jill Stein running again.

Maybe with Susan Sarandon as her running mate?

LOL.

This bitch reminds me of that nut who ran like 15 presidential elections in a row and never even came close. What was that dude's name?

The crazies are coming out of the woodwork because they know business is bad without a rightwinger in the White House. Gotta jumpstart the gravy train!

by Anonymousreply 11November 9, 2023 9:31 PM

I am ecstatic at the thought of a really intelligent woman running for office, and not some craven professional hack, i.e. HRC.

by Anonymousreply 12November 9, 2023 9:35 PM

The entire focus of 2024 MUST be on Biden. We MUST defeat Trump at all costs. Losing is not an option if we want to maintain our democracy--and not elect the criminal Trump.

Jill Stein is a motherfucker. Get the hell out of the race. You are a spoiler and will hand Trump the keys to The White House. Get the fuck out of the race

by Anonymousreply 13November 9, 2023 9:38 PM

How much is The Trump Organisation paying her.

In the words of Kevin Sessums she 'needs to get fucked right now!'

by Anonymousreply 14November 9, 2023 9:40 PM

How about a triumvirate of Stein, Nader and Marianne Williamson?

Now THAT is thinking outside the box. Well at least on Nader.

by Anonymousreply 18November 9, 2023 10:01 PM

Of course, she's running again.

She's being paid to pull as many voters away from the Democrat candidate as she possibly can. She and RFK Jr are both intended to weaken the Democratic candidate.

She doesn't intend to win. She intends to get paid. The worst part is that, while RFK Jr is probably expensive, she's probably relatively inexpensive compared to the damage she is capable of doing in tight races.

by Anonymousreply 19November 9, 2023 10:05 PM

This seems correct to me:

by Anonymousreply 27November 9, 2023 10:36 PM

… and why is she qualified?

by Anonymousreply 28November 9, 2023 10:47 PM

Jill Stein invented the Green New Deal platform in 2012 and 2016.

Other political parties have a right to exist and run candidates.

by Anonymousreply 29November 9, 2023 10:48 PM

You have to be qualified, R28?!

by Anonymousreply 30November 9, 2023 10:50 PM

R29 We have an either/or choice at the Presidential level. A third party only exists to pull votes from one side or the other (usually the Democrat). Have you learned nothing from Ralph Nader and Jill Stein 1.0? If she wants to be a politician, she should go run for school board or mayor of wherever she lives.

by Anonymousreply 31November 9, 2023 10:51 PM

Team Jill. Is it true that she is a stooge for pooton?

by Anonymousreply 32November 9, 2023 10:52 PM

Gee. Maybe she should try running for PTA leader first? Starting from the ground up and all of that ....

by Anonymousreply 33November 9, 2023 10:53 PM

by Anonymousreply 37November 9, 2023 10:58 PM

by Anonymousreply 38November 9, 2023 11:04 PM

Why doesn't she run for Congress or Senate if she's so concerned? It's always President or nothing. Where was she in 2020? What has she been doing these past 8 years. Suspicious as a fox in a hen house.

by Anonymousreply 39November 9, 2023 11:04 PM

by Anonymousreply 61November 9, 2023 11:52 PM

[quote]Jill Stein didn't throw the election to what-its-name

Yes, she absolutely fucking did. Stop denying obvious mathematical reality.

The number of votes for Jill Stein in three critical swing states was WAY more than the margin of Trump's win in those states. Without her, Hillary would have picked up those states and won the election.

FUCK YOU for trying to deny the fact Jill Stein handed the election to Trump. That's literally WHY she ran. She ran to knee-cap Hillary and to help the GOP. It's why the GOP (and Putin) funds her!

by Anonymousreply 62November 9, 2023 11:58 PM

Stein also says she had little idea who Flynn was, though she had a brief, friendly conversation in which she told him about her efforts to promote nuclear disarmament and build “a peace consensus.”

That mission was the impetus for her trip to Moscow, she tells The Intercept. “There was nothing secretive about why I was there… The dinner had absolutely no relevance to my trip.” She emphasizes that she went to RT’s 1oth anniversary celebration to open a dialogue with Russians, even though she apparently did not try to speak with Putin about her agenda. However, she mentions that her trip was a chance to meet with other “peace advocates,” including former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura.

Exactly. These weren't "Maybe Hillary, maybe Jill" voters. They were Never Hillary voters, the ones who warned during the primaries that never means never. Since voting for Hillary was out of the question and presumably they wouldn't vote for Trump, the more likely scenario is they would have not voted for anyone for president.

I think RFK is kind of that far right spoiler guy. No Dem who voted for Biden is going to suddenly switch to him just because of the family name. That legacy is bashfully a memory of the past. But that's the thing, old Repugs still think it is. They were pushing RFK as a spoiler to steal votes away from Biden but it's not working, he's running as an independent. by Anonymousreply 113November 10, 2023 6:39 PM

Yes, that, why does everyone forget about that? Cant imagine if the CIA announced the week before the election what that would do to Trump if that happened. In other words, no third party candidates should ever exist? What a pathetic, tribal viewpoint!

by Anonymousreply 124November 16, 2023 11:19 PM

Not in a world where Trump is a viable option, and we use Plurality Voting and have the Electoral College. No.

If a 3rd party runs, I'd want it to be a right-winger or conservative, to split the Right and help sane Democrats win.

In our system, not only can a 3rd party never win the Presidency without one of the other two major parties dying first (which last happened in the late 1800s when the Whigs utterly collapsed allowing the Republicans to rise in their place), even if one DID win, they'd be utterly unable to govern. They'd have no coalition in Congress. No party support. Nothing.

Stop stroking your own ego out of your own ignorance about how our system works and why. Third party candidates are nothing more than vanity candidates out grifting for cash and fame. And any vote for them is a WASTE of a vote that others bled and died to give you. Shame on you.
