I grew up on L.I. and knew quite a few psychics, none of them practicing and some trying to ignore it. Growing up there and then moving into the city and then to rural America, I think there is just an awareness there. I also think that people are just more free and open to believe and accept these things they are in other places. I only have slight abilities but because I believed in these things people labeled me as a witch when I moved here. As the years went on I learned that almost all of the places here are haunted. Once people knew there was someone that believed they were able to open up and talk about their experiences.

From L.I too and have had experiences all my life. My Mom would say I would talk about people I should have no knowledge of. I've been called possessed by co-workers for talking about people in their lives I have never met or having people come back and reminded me of something I've told them that came true.

Three fake phony frauds as the least haunted house on Long island was the DeFeo home.

Nothing haunted about the beautiful waterfront home that looked NOTHING like the house in the movie. It was on an open street with one house close to the next. Its in a typical LI neighborhood...not in some haunted forest in what looks like eastern Europe

R3 R5 another former LI..we as teens used to go to the Defeo house ...right after Ron murdered his family, we took a ride there. Sitting on the front stoop were boxes for Mrs Defeo that she would never get...very tragic.

Do you remember “Psychic medium George”? he used to be on WBLI late at night on the Joel martin show...being an insomniac, I listened to it every night
