Courtney Love's "Rehab Demos" (circa 2005)

I recently revisited these on YouTube after having not listened in many years, and was quite impressed and moved by some of them. She wrote most of this material in the early-mid-2000s when she was court ordered to lockdown rehab. A lot of the songs either got scrapped or were totally revamped for the "Hole" album "Nobody's Daughter", which was put out in 2010 after many years. There was something much rawer and effective about those demos that was not carried over on the final album release. Several of the tracks didn't evenmake the cut. This one was included as a bonus track, which is a fucking shame.
