Stefan & Gabi had a great plan to get Li's shares today. I really enjoyed their hijinks with Rachel & Rolf to get what they wanted.

I'm kind of over Eric. The character is 50 and is going through this romance angst. It's annoying. Plus, the actor is way too hot to be playing such a sad sack character.

I'm loving Li Shin this week. His whole disheveled, angsty unraveling has been well played.

I used to watch this when it aired in the UK after Sunset Beach. This was back in the days when Jensen Ackles was in it. It was bad then, but from that promo posted earlier, it seems even worse now, which I didn't think possible.

I think this was a better week for the soap with Gabi leaving, Leo & Demetri being discovered by Jada & EJ becoming the new DA. It was enough to make my head spin. I will enjoy upcoming scenes with Leo & Nicole as well as Demetri & Sloan.

R21 wow so did I! I loved Sunset Beach and was sad it ended but I immediately took a shine to Marlena. It started with her being shot by Princess Gina then the flight to Paris where she almost got blown out of the plane wearing that fantastic yellow blazer!

I was a lonely little gay kid back then and Marlena (and the Salem hijinks) gave me an outlet. I was really upset when it was just announced one day that was the last episode channel 5 would air. I went into mourning like I'd lost my pals!

R12 R15 IA it's just something alluring about him, even though a lot of people have said otherwise. It's interesting that Albert Alarr wasn't too keen on bringing him back; Blake said that he pitched three different stories to both Deidre and Albert, in an effort to have him return on a regular basis. Albert told him that it was up to Ron, since he's the one writing the show. I think Albert didn't think he was sexy enough to convincingly portray a leading guy on the show and looked at him through the same lenses as R17 lol because now he's suddenly back full-time after Albert's dismissal.

R61 Oh he was writing wasn't he before his firing, then right after Ron and the writing team went out striking, he assumed even more writing duties (post-Ron episodes are slated to begin airing after Christmas). I didn't know Blake's scenes had begun airing yet, I had actually watched in awhile, my mistake. Guess Blake was finally able to convince "Miss Alarr" to rehire him after all.

Does NuEJ ever call Nicole "Nicki" like James Scott used to? .. I used to think it was fun how James would do that upper-crusty British thing and typically refer to characters on the show by their formal name, "Will-YUM" "Sa-man-THA," "A-bra-ham," etc. But with her he'd do that clipped British thing and call her "Nicki."

If I were writing this, I’d have EJ find out the baby was actually Eric’s by finding the real paternity test in the Di Mera safe.

He then realizes that Eric’s and Sloan’s baby is actually Ericole’s kid, realizes Sloan was behind doctoring the DNA test, calls her out on it, but enters into an unholy alliance with her to keep her secret because he knows that once Nicole learns the truth, she’ll leave him immediately.

Have this play out for a couple of years (like they used to back in the day).

Once the truth comes out, Ericole reunites and Salem’s newest evil power couple is EJoan.

Even though we've been down this road before with Nicole, Ari is killing this storyline. Tuesday's episode, alone, is an Emmy worthy performance. And Dan F. is her best scene partner in years.

Question: Did Belle ever appear as a kid in the late 90s before they aged her to a teen? All of Marlena's kids seemed to have been aged loads. Would have made more sense if she had Belle while she was captive in 1987.
