Dear Keebler, PLEASE BRINGS BACK PIZZARIAS CHIPS!!!

Fat whores wanna be able to rejoice, and we can’t until PIZZARIAS are back!

I used to LOVE these. I would go to blockbuster and rent a movie, buy a big bag of these (they sold them in my local blockbuster) and a soda. I loved it.

I loved these

by Anonymousreply 1October 26, 2023 11:57 PM

I just got heartburn looking at that

by Anonymousreply 2October 27, 2023 12:01 AM

[quote]blockbuster

You must've wasted all your capital letters in the title.

by Anonymousreply 3October 27, 2023 12:16 AM

OP, aka "Gail Grinds Jr." has been fingering it's asshole to the thought of these chips since they were taken off the shelves in 1988!!!!!

by Anonymousreply 4October 27, 2023 12:23 AM

How were they different from Doritos?

by Anonymousreply 5October 27, 2023 12:31 AM

I loved Taco Flavored Doritos. They're still made, but hard to find.

by Anonymousreply 6October 27, 2023 12:43 AM

I lived on O’Boises and Tato Skins, but I don’t remember Pizzarias. They do look delicious.

by Anonymousreply 7October 27, 2023 12:45 AM

Thanks for the suggestion, OP. But I gotta ask: how did you know I was a Datalounger?

by Anonymousreply 8October 27, 2023 12:45 AM

Yum loved those too!

by Anonymousreply 9October 27, 2023 12:51 AM

I liked them a lot to. The texture was much more pleasant than Doritos.

R5 - IIRC, they were made from wheat, not corn flour and were tangier with more tomato flavor.

by Anonymousreply 10October 27, 2023 1:03 AM

I need a bag of them Doweedos.

by Anonymousreply 11October 27, 2023 1:05 AM

They WERE good. Now I want some.

by Anonymousreply 12October 27, 2023 1:08 AM

I’d rather Blockbuster be brought back.

by Anonymousreply 13October 27, 2023 1:10 AM

FAT WHORES MOURN!

by Anonymousreply 14October 27, 2023 1:14 AM

Were these endorsed by Pizzarina Sbarro?

by Anonymousreply 15October 27, 2023 2:05 AM

Pepperidge Farm remembers!

These were delicious. Tasted nothing like Doritos.

by Anonymousreply 17October 27, 2023 11:42 AM

I’m sure they taste good but I can already see the site forming on my face after eating them

by Anonymousreply 18October 27, 2023 11:50 AM

Dear Keebler, FUCK YOU! And all of your shitty little elves too!

by Anonymousreply 19October 27, 2023 11:52 AM

R4 these didn’t even exist in the 80s. They came out in the 90s and lasted a few years. I used to buy them in the 90s. I miss the 90s.

by Anonymousreply 20October 27, 2023 12:03 PM

These tasted great because I was a kid. Everything was awesome back then. I bet if I ate them as an adult, they’d taste like shit.

by Anonymousreply 21October 27, 2023 12:11 PM

R21. No.

by Anonymousreply 22October 27, 2023 12:18 PM

There are plenty of processed foods to shove in your fat gash, OP.

How morbidly obese ARE you, anyway?

by Anonymousreply 23October 27, 2023 12:33 PM

R6 Thank you! I also see this from time to time in the supermarket and always get them. Biting into the first one always takes me back to the 80s. And the un-woke packaging is a hoot.

by Anonymousreply 24October 27, 2023 12:46 PM

R24 Not exactly “un-woke.” But yeah, I doubt the graphics would be green-lit by a board of millennials.

by Anonymousreply 25October 27, 2023 12:51 PM

What is “woke” packaging on chips?

by Anonymousreply 26October 27, 2023 12:51 PM

Did you write a letter on tiny stationary with a little stamp, to mail to the elves who live in the tree?

by Anonymousreply 27October 27, 2023 12:52 PM

Fist bumps R6. Taco Doritos are snack VIPs.

by Anonymousreply 28October 27, 2023 4:00 PM

We'd eat a whole bag and then get the Diah-rrias!

by Anonymousreply 29October 27, 2023 4:03 PM

There were 3 flavors, Cheese Pizza, Supreme Pizza and Pepperoni Pizza. The cheese pizza was the best.

by Anonymousreply 30October 27, 2023 4:05 PM

R26, there isn't any, but the right-wing brigade loves to obsess over "wokeness" so....whatever

by Anonymousreply 31October 27, 2023 5:01 PM

What a BUNCH OF FAT LUMPS!!!!!!!!! I suspect many of you have been immobilized on a couch for 20+years and shit in a bucket.

That being said- I recall these really delicious snacks with a take on an italian name- And they were shaped like different pastas. And they were on the chips aisle. I have to see if I can figure out the name. I was around 10-12 so this was 1989-91 or so.

They were absolutely delicious. They may have had the name Pasta in the name- I have to figure this one out. Very similar to those Pizza ones I suspect.

I wish you all well and pray that you get your chips back and start a go fund me for your families. Those double sized caskets are expensive.

by Anonymousreply 32October 27, 2023 8:21 PM

I see your Pizzarias, OP and raise you Keebler's Chacos. Restaurant Style Original. Just a hint of seasoning, flour tortilla chips. They were so delicious.

I did like Pizzarias but they were very seasoned compared to Chacos.

Pringles has a pizza flavor and I bought it hoping it may taste like PIZZARIAS, but not the case.

by Anonymousreply 34October 27, 2023 8:36 PM

r33 - Aha, the flour tortilla basis! And they were very well-seasoned compared to Doritos.

by Anonymousreply 35October 27, 2023 9:02 PM

I used to love these chips and the potato skins ones.

by Anonymousreply 36October 27, 2023 9:12 PM

Re: taco-flavored Doritos.

Try Late July jalapeño and lime chips. Really good and they remind me of taco-flavored Doritos. Be careful not to get the sea salt & lime flavor (Late July). Those are horrible and taste like the smell of Lemon Pledge.

by Anonymousreply 37October 28, 2023 2:13 AM

They also weren’t cheese flavoring like Doritos.
