I actually enjoyed this episode. BH has been so dark the last couple of seasons it was nice to ease in with something a little lighter. It wasn’t perfect but I thought we got a nice mix. And Rinna-less is definitely better. She dominated the show and I was tired of it. Dorit was actually somewhat likeable which surprised me. A good strong 8.5/10. Seeing Kyle explain why she is done with Kathy(metaphorically) and her bullshit) and Rinna . That reunion was a turning point I think for her in a lot of situations in her life where she doesn’t feel seen heard or valued. And she finally said fuck it, I’m going to do what I’m going to do. I honestly don’t think she and Morgan Wade are having an affair. I think Kyle is having a mid-life crisis and saying fuck it, I’m going to live for me. She and Mo looked a 1000 miles apart in that last scene.

I like Dorit. Is she pretentious and lacking in self awareness? Sure. But she's also harmless and seems like she has a good heart. The one I can't stand is Crystal. She's the Eboni of RHOBH, always looking for something to call out as "problematic" so she can act morally superior since she brings nothing else to the table.

She probably expected Kathy to finally give her the respect she'd been seeking her life, but instead, Kathy was clearly resentful as fuck at being usurped. (It's no coincidence Kathy suddenly deigned to do RHOBH after refusing for years as it was her last ditch attempt to stay on top of the family pecking order.) I think Kyle hit her breaking point after Kathy's rant to Rinna when she realized she'd spent her whole life seeking the approval of someone who was just never going to give it under any circumstances. Sadly that realization seems to have coincided with the kids growing up and Mo being busy with work, leaving Kyle totally unmoored and in an obvious mid-life crisis.

Immediately, fans took to Dorit’s comments to drag her that caption because why would you want to live in a bubble? Why is it so hard to acknowledge microaggressions?

One fan replied in the comments, “This caption isn’t doing what you think it’s doing, Dorit…”

RuPaul’s Drag Race alum Sasha Belle also weighed in under Dorit’s post. They wrote, “This caption is really disappointing.”

During the race conversation on RHOBH, Dorit said that she felt like Garcelle had educated her on the issue. Clearly, that lesson didn’t stick since she posted this tone-deaf post on her Instagram.

Despite the fury in her comments, she still hasn’t edited the caption or responded to the criticism. She probably can’t hear us from within her bubble.

Dorit is whiny and argumentative this episode, I prefer it when she just makes fun of people.

But I am on her side vs Kyle. Kyle is over 50 years old and can fight her own battles in reunions. Punishing Dorit for not picking a fight with Kathy on Kyle’s behalf in the reunion is asshole behaviour (who the hell would argue with someone’s sister and butt in on a family squabble?) and is exactly what Kyle what she accuses Kathy of doing. What I'm wondering is, when they were all discussing what's going on with Kyle, why no one said, "maybe it has something to do with her best friend killing herself." Wouldn't that be an obvious explanation?

(The issue Garcelle had with Kyle bringing up her non-payment is how she did it - she sat on it to use as a “gotcha” during the reunion rather than contacting her and asking for the money. Kyle said she had not understood potential racial undertones, she had just meant it in a normal shady way and they had a very civilised and mature conversation about it.)

Kyle’s bf’s death this point happened I think 12-18 months prior to this point in filming, it wasn’t a shorter period of time like with Rinna and her mom or LVP and her brother.

I think they don’t know because since the reunion, Kyle has fewer close friends in the group. She ditched Dorit for not yelling at Kathy for her - unfairly I think, because all Dorit implied in short clip is that they both need acknowledgement and compromise from each other if they’re going to move on, which is just common sense. And Kyle didn’t vocalise this to Dorit, she just ghosted her.

Dorit’s not the most observant person, but if she doesn’t realise the new codependent relationship with Morgan is because of the death, it’s not fair to blame anyone else for not realising this.

Maybe Kyle ghosted Dorit because she realized that maybe it wasn't far fetched that Dorit was having an affair with Mauricio, and had been for years.
