Angelique may have been the best character on DS. Passionate, impulsive, vindictive and powerful, she always made things happen. Other villains on the show (and there were plenty) didn’t want to cross her.

Born "Mary." I wonder if she became "Lara" after "Doctor Zhivago" was published. Jane Fonda was her roommate at Vassar. Fonda turned down the role of Lara in the movie of "Zhivago," and later said that was a big mistake.
