The photo is likely the result of a twentysomething copy editor posting to the story to the Deadline website.
He/she likely went in the archive and grabbed the first LA Law photo he/she could find. Since she/he is too young to have ever watched the show, she/he didn't understand that the biggest names in the cast -- Harry Hamlin and Jimmy Smits -- were not in the photo.
