It’s absolutely frightening because I can’t recognize those fraus anymore despite a name list! What’s all this then?…can someone help me to tell them apart before their plastic surgeons kill them (allegedly)

by Anonymousreply 1October 4, 2023 8:47 PM

This is worse than 80 for Brady.

by Anonymousreply 2October 4, 2023 8:48 PM

Well, this explains why it's so hard to find Clorox bleach lately.

by Anonymousreply 3October 4, 2023 8:51 PM

Wouldn't 'The Return of the Mummies: An Expressionless Christmas' be a more fitting title?

by Anonymousreply 4October 4, 2023 8:52 PM

Mills and Gray look great.

The other 3 look like they ate wearing cadaver masks.

by Anonymousreply 5October 4, 2023 9:08 PM

Donna Mills looks fantastic for being in her 80s. Whatever works she has had was done very well, as she still looks like herself. Considering someone 20 years younger like Madonna looks absolutely haggard and ruined by fillers and surgery, it really makes you wonder why celebrities don't consult each other more, privately, about which surgeons do the best work.

by Anonymousreply 6October 4, 2023 9:09 PM

*work not works, haha

by Anonymousreply 7October 4, 2023 9:10 PM

Linda Gray and Donna Mills are both in their 80's and look great. As a gayling, I loved "Dallas" and "Knots Landing", so I'm going to have to give this a watch for sentimental purposes.

by Anonymousreply 8October 4, 2023 9:11 PM

The real issue is your own face r6. Two people can go to the same doctor and have very different results. I can get fillers etc. and look great and you can get the same exact thing and it won’t look good on your face.

by Anonymousreply 9October 4, 2023 9:12 PM

R8 you acknowledge Knots Landing but don’t acknowledge the person on this cast who saved the show in its later seasons!? Yeah, the “Paige” years are most peoples favorite.

by Anonymousreply 10October 4, 2023 9:13 PM

Morgan Fairchild is awesome

by Anonymousreply 11October 4, 2023 9:19 PM

She was on our side right from the start.

by Anonymousreply 12October 4, 2023 9:21 PM

Where is Morgan Brittany? Victoria Principal? Charlene Tilton?

by Anonymousreply 13October 4, 2023 9:34 PM

r5, I worked with Donna on Nope and she indeed looks fantastic. Her eyes are such a clear blue, and she has a great sense of humor. Very classy lady.

by Anonymousreply 14October 4, 2023 9:35 PM

Datalounge should have a live viewing party

by Anonymousreply 15October 4, 2023 9:36 PM

R13 it’s a fucking Christmas movie. Not a documentary. They can’t cast everyone

by Anonymousreply 16October 4, 2023 9:36 PM

Agree that Donna and Linda look the best. The others have had way too much plastic surgery

by Anonymousreply 17October 4, 2023 9:36 PM

Donna was candid in a podcast where she said Nicolette was a bit of an odd co-worker. She wasn’t a huge fan. Interesting they’d reunite all these years later.

by Anonymousreply 18October 4, 2023 9:42 PM

Well they’re both older now. I’m sure there is no resentment. Nicolette was very young on Knots. I’m sure Donna understand that.

by Anonymousreply 19October 4, 2023 9:45 PM

Joan Collins, Linda Evans, Pamela Sue Martin, Pamela Bellwood, Heather Locklear?

by Anonymousreply 20October 4, 2023 9:50 PM

You mean "Ladies in their 80s!" All of DL will be waiting with bated breath for this extravaganza. Wonder how much Vaseline (for the camera lens is in the budget?

by Anonymousreply 21October 4, 2023 9:58 PM

Well, I guess that they weren't expecting to be cast in this movie

by Anonymousreply 22October 4, 2023 9:58 PM

Loni and Linda need better wigs.

by Anonymousreply 23October 4, 2023 9:59 PM

Michele Lee should be in this! She was my fave on Knot’s.

by Anonymousreply 24October 4, 2023 10:20 PM

Think of it like this r24, if this bodes well for Lifetime I’m sure they will do a sequel and similar films with 80s tv stars in the future.

by Anonymousreply 25October 4, 2023 10:23 PM

Joan Van Ark

by Anonymousreply 26October 5, 2023 12:06 AM

R26 I rejected them

by Anonymousreply 27October 5, 2023 12:09 AM

Why the hell isn't my phone rang?!

by Anonymousreply 28October 5, 2023 12:14 AM

Dig Mary Frann up and she'd be more recognizable.

by Anonymousreply 29October 5, 2023 12:16 AM

Morgan looks like herself.

by Anonymousreply 30October 5, 2023 12:17 AM

Average age there has to be at least mid 70s. Nicolette in her 50s is the baby!

by Anonymousreply 31October 5, 2023 12:18 AM

[quote] Well, this explains why it's so hard to find Clorox bleach lately.

You must be joking. Bleach is the last thing these gals need. They show up for color ready-to-go.

by Anonymousreply 32October 5, 2023 12:21 AM

R31 well if you’re making a movie with women who were stars in the 80s then they’re gonna be 50+

Hell, if they were a baby they would be in their late 30s to 40s!!!

by Anonymousreply 33October 5, 2023 12:24 AM

There’s enough collective Botox content between all of them in this photo, that a mass leaking could cause a worldwide flood 2 feet deep.

by Anonymousreply 34October 5, 2023 12:30 AM

I can’t wait to see this. It’ll be fun!

by Anonymousreply 35October 5, 2023 12:34 AM

I feel kind of bad for Nicolette, being grouped together with women who are a generation older than she is.

by Anonymousreply 36October 5, 2023 12:40 AM

Why would you feel bad? She’s the one who accepted the role.

by Anonymousreply 37October 5, 2023 12:41 AM

The state of Nicolette’s financials must be pretty dire to agree to this project. Her biggest success came when DH launched which was well after the ‘80s. Having to pretend to be a contemporary of Loni Anderson and Linda Gray is rather depressing and speaks to her desperation for coin.

by Anonymousreply 38October 5, 2023 12:43 AM

Some of them are just too 🤡.

by Anonymousreply 39October 5, 2023 12:46 AM

She IS a contemporary of them. They all rose to fame in the 80s. What don’t you get?

by Anonymousreply 40October 5, 2023 12:46 AM

They’re making a horror movie for Halloween it’s called ‘The Filler Killer’, it’s about a plastic surgeon who offs his patients with Botox.

by Anonymousreply 41October 5, 2023 12:47 AM

Linda Gray is fucking amazing. What a good soul, and she looks great. I like Morgan too. Not a dummy. The rest? Eh. I'll check it out with fingers crossed for some good camp.

by Anonymousreply 42October 5, 2023 2:01 AM

Apparantly there was an on-set raffle for the crew, if they could guess which one of the cast DIDN'T wear diapers (I'll give you a hint, it's not the youngest)

by Anonymousreply 43October 5, 2023 2:12 AM

Loni's head looks like something created in a collaboration between Mike Lindell and Fernando Botero.

by Anonymousreply 44October 5, 2023 2:16 AM

Nicolette shouldn't be so washed up that she has to take roles like this.

by Anonymousreply 45October 5, 2023 2:17 AM

R6, Donna Mills looks great for any age. Just amazing.

by Anonymousreply 46October 5, 2023 2:19 AM

Why don’t they just make a reality show out of these and be done with it?

by Anonymousreply 47October 5, 2023 2:20 AM

R16, are you an addled assistant at a third-string television production company? Scads of cameo roles are available in a fucking Christmas movie to cast the full parade of broken-down 80s stunners--let'see, you've got Santa's Elves, Santa's Helpers, Sexy Santa and, oh yeah, the lady who wraps gifts behind the department store counter. Then you've got the nympho neighbor swanning over with fruitcake....that leaves lots of room for at least 10 more, and Mary Crosby, too.

by Anonymousreply 48October 5, 2023 2:25 AM

To be fair, I would imagine the insurance on this project had to be through the roof, higher than on 2 1/2 Men, what with all of these woman pushing 80 (at least!!!).

by Anonymousreply 49October 5, 2023 2:37 AM

R45 shes a soapy actress who got by on her appearance all her life. Her big lawsuit against Marc Cherry got her blacklisted.

by Anonymousreply 50October 5, 2023 2:41 AM

Abby Dalton from Falcon Crest

by Anonymousreply 51October 5, 2023 2:42 AM

^^Well, Abby is dead, but still.

by Anonymousreply 52October 5, 2023 2:43 AM

I love Loni and I’m mad at you mean gays for making fun of her.

by Anonymousreply 53October 5, 2023 2:45 AM

FWIW, Donna, Linda and Loni were recognizable without looking at the caption.

by Anonymousreply 54October 5, 2023 2:46 AM

Nicollette looks like a drag version of herself.

And since it's a Christmas movie, Joan Van Ark could have played Mrs. Santa who got stuck in the fireplace when a child lit a match below.

by Anonymousreply 55October 5, 2023 2:51 AM

When is casting for Bitches from the 70s?

by Anonymousreply 56October 5, 2023 2:53 AM

I love Morgan Fairchild. She's poignant and lovely on Twitter.

by Anonymousreply 57October 5, 2023 2:54 AM

This will be fantastic.

by Anonymousreply 58October 5, 2023 2:57 AM

This is definitely a white Christmas.

by Anonymousreply 59October 5, 2023 2:59 AM

"Which one of you bitches is my great-great-grandmother?"

by Anonymousreply 60October 5, 2023 3:03 AM

I really can't believe the bastards left out Joan Van Ark and Michelle Lee

by Anonymousreply 61October 5, 2023 3:03 AM

Michelle Phillips from Knots Landing

by Anonymousreply 62October 5, 2023 3:27 AM

I'm sure the casting director just didn't have my email.

by Anonymousreply 63October 5, 2023 3:36 AM

I hope Nicolette is playing the daughter or something of one of the ladies and not their contemporary. She’s not THAT old.

by Anonymousreply 64October 5, 2023 3:53 AM

You really want JvA's hideous face work blaring out at you in 4K, r61?

by Anonymousreply 65October 5, 2023 4:26 AM

No La Lucci, no one cares.

by Anonymousreply 66October 5, 2023 6:27 AM

It’s good to see more efforts like this to recycle single-use plastic.

by Anonymousreply 67October 5, 2023 8:28 AM

R61 loser, they weren’t trying to make it an all Knots Landing cast.

by Anonymousreply 68October 5, 2023 9:12 AM

R66 Susan Lucci wouldn’t be of the 80s, as her breakout on daytime tv was in the 60s and went on for decades.

by Anonymousreply 69October 5, 2023 9:14 AM

R69- AMC debuted in 1970. No 1960s stardom for La Looch. How dare you.

by Anonymousreply 70October 6, 2023 2:54 PM

Fairchild looks like she's got prednisone face.

by Anonymousreply 71October 6, 2023 5:29 PM

No Sable Colby?

The Real Housewives of Hallmark

by Anonymousreply 73October 6, 2023 5:39 PM

Hagsploitation is still a thing in the entertainment business, clearly.

by Anonymousreply 74October 6, 2023 5:55 PM

Lifetime should do "A Christmas Scorned," in which Meredith Baxter plays a murderous Mrs. Claus, next.

by Anonymousreply 75October 6, 2023 6:03 PM

It's a beloved tradition, r74.

[quote] Considering someone 20 years younger like Madonna looks absolutely haggard and ruined by fillers and surgery.

It's the fillers more than anything. Surgery has been around forever, but it's only with the advent of fillers that women have started looking like puffy clowns. I suspect Mills and Gray look good because they had old fashioned nip and tuck surgery rather than injecting every wrinkle so that their faces look like kabuki masks.

by Anonymousreply 77October 6, 2023 6:11 PM

It airs on December 2!!!

Staggering how much hair + makeup it takes to make women 'pretty'.

by Anonymousreply 79November 27, 2023 5:09 PM

Nicholette and Donna look identical.

by Anonymousreply 80November 27, 2023 5:44 PM

Oops I meant Donna and Morgan look identical.

by Anonymousreply 81November 27, 2023 5:45 PM

[quote]It will air on Lifetime this December.

Just in time for the end of their Lifetime.

by Anonymousreply 82November 27, 2023 7:47 PM

[QUOTE]It really makes you wonder why celebrities don't consult each other more, privately, about which surgeons do the best work.

Maybe they're catty and don't want to give away their secrets, not wanting their contemporaries to look as good as they do.

[QUOTE]Where is Morgan Brittany?

She's glad you asked. She'd like to tell you how she was one of the earliest victims of Hollywood cancel culture.

There's going to be a lot of denture slur in that movie. 🪥

by Anonymousreply 84November 27, 2023 8:29 PM

Morgan Fairchild has enough makeup on to scrape off for a stocking stuffer.

by Anonymousreply 85November 27, 2023 8:39 PM

Loni the skin stretched statue look again

by Anonymousreply 86November 27, 2023 9:53 PM

Just a few days away

by Anonymousreply 87November 29, 2023 12:11 AM

Who ARE these people?

by Anonymousreply 88November 29, 2023 12:12 AM

There are more plastic and artificial hair in that photo than in all of Mattel’s doll factories nationwide at the moment.

by Anonymousreply 89November 29, 2023 12:32 AM

Loni Anderson looks like ass.

by Anonymousreply 90November 29, 2023 12:54 AM

Will Datalounge be gathering around the fireplace in front of the tv while cradling a mug to watch this?

by Anonymousreply 91November 29, 2023 12:59 AM

R88 I’m guessing you’re under 90.

by Anonymousreply 92November 29, 2023 1:05 AM

Judith Light should've been cast.

by Anonymousreply 93November 29, 2023 1:39 AM

Ladies in their 80s, more like.

by Anonymousreply 94November 29, 2023 2:07 AM

Do you think they all wear depends?

by Anonymousreply 95November 29, 2023 2:27 AM

Going through the whole group, what work have each of them had done, if any?

by Anonymousreply 96December 8, 2023 8:19 PM

I was watching a promo clip, and damn Morgan looks like old Paris Hilton, now. Now that I’ve said, try to unsee it.

by Anonymousreply 97December 8, 2023 8:23 PM

It was unwatchable. It was so poorly put together.. sad

by Anonymousreply 98December 8, 2023 8:24 PM

I think rhe article's "80's TV stars" designation sez it all...

by Anonymousreply 99December 8, 2023 8:45 PM

I watched maybe 15 minutes. I’m not sure what this trainwreck was. It’s Lifetime, so of course they shoehorn in some stupid Christmas romance between the old lady bits.

by Anonymousreply 100December 19, 2023 10:20 AM

Was the romance, girl on girl, R100? I could totally see Donna Mills going all "method" with that!
