First Look! “Ladies of the 80s” Christmas movie on Lifetime

It’s absolutely frightening because I can’t recognize those fraus anymore despite a name list! What’s all this then?…can someone help me to tell them apart before their plastic surgeons kill them (allegedly)

Donna Mills looks fantastic for being in her 80s. Whatever works she has had was done very well, as she still looks like herself. Considering someone 20 years younger like Madonna looks absolutely haggard and ruined by fillers and surgery, it really makes you wonder why celebrities don't consult each other more, privately, about which surgeons do the best work.

Linda Gray and Donna Mills are both in their 80's and look great. As a gayling, I loved "Dallas" and "Knots Landing", so I'm going to have to give this a watch for sentimental purposes.

The real issue is your own face r6. Two people can go to the same doctor and have very different results. I can get fillers etc. and look great and you can get the same exact thing and it won’t look good on your face.

R8 you acknowledge Knots Landing but don’t acknowledge the person on this cast who saved the show in its later seasons!? Yeah, the “Paige” years are most peoples favorite.

r5, I worked with Donna on Nope and she indeed looks fantastic. Her eyes are such a clear blue, and she has a great sense of humor. Very classy lady.

Donna was candid in a podcast where she said Nicolette was a bit of an odd co-worker. She wasn’t a huge fan. Interesting they’d reunite all these years later.

Well they’re both older now. I’m sure there is no resentment. Nicolette was very young on Knots. I’m sure Donna understand that.

I feel kind of bad for Nicolette, being grouped together with women who are a generation older than she is.

Why would you feel bad? She’s the one who accepted the role.

The state of Nicolette’s financials must be pretty dire to agree to this project. Her biggest success came when DH launched which was well after the ‘80s. Having to pretend to be a contemporary of Loni Anderson and Linda Gray is rather depressing and speaks to her desperation for coin.

They’re making a horror movie for Halloween it’s called ‘The Filler Killer’, it’s about a plastic surgeon who offs his patients with Botox.

Linda Gray is fucking amazing. What a good soul, and she looks great. I like Morgan too. Not a dummy. The rest? Eh. I'll check it out with fingers crossed for some good camp.

Apparantly there was an on-set raffle for the crew, if they could guess which one of the cast DIDN'T wear diapers (I'll give you a hint, it's not the youngest)

Loni's head looks like something created in a collaboration between Mike Lindell and Fernando Botero.

Scads of cameo roles are available in a fucking Christmas movie to cast the full parade of broken-down 80s stunners--let'see, you've got Santa's Elves, Santa's Helpers, Sexy Santa and, oh yeah, the lady who wraps gifts behind the department store counter. Then you've got the nympho neighbor swanning over with fruitcake....that leaves lots of room for at least 10 more, and Mary Crosby, too.

To be fair, I would imagine the insurance on this project had to be through the roof, higher than on 2 1/2 Men, what with all of these woman pushing 80 (at least!!!).

It's the fillers more than anything. Surgery has been around forever, but it's only with the advent of fillers that women have started looking like puffy clowns. I suspect Mills and Gray look good because they had old fashioned nip and tuck surgery rather than injecting every wrinkle so that their faces look like kabuki masks.
